AI Humanoid Robots All in one: Eyes should be like a camera, and robot brains should be like ChatGPT. Robots should send scientific information about what they saw and be fireproof, waterproof, rockproof, bulletproof, bombproof, and acidproof, and also soundproof, but with no added hacking, walking, and flying both.

Very cool stuff. However all kinds of abuse is possible and even likely. Some Solar System wide regulation and ethical guidelines are needed before the next century. Unfortunately there may be few AI linked disasters before anything equivalent of Phobos Accords (Google it) is even considered.

Horrendous mistake. I guess the creators didn’t learn from “I Robot” and “The Terminator” when it all goes south and the robots use their “minds” to take over and do evil without human prompting. The creators of humanoid bots may have had good intentions, but they sold their souls to the devil. These things are being given the ability to think and evolve. At some point, they won’t be able to be stopped and our survival will be at stake.

Why not just have a special dedicated robot to replace batteries. The robot stands in front of the battery robot and has its battery changed.

To all the people freaking out over this concept let me remind you how many other functions people would still need to accomplish in order for the robot to function, it’s so far from 100% self sufficient the robots would also need to be able to perform maintenance on not only the robots but the charging stations as well, things wear out, you’d need bots to do periodic maintenance on the robots, replacing joints and limbs, greasing or lubricating, fixing wiring and CPUs, we’re still at LEAST 100 years from any point in which we would actually have to start to worry, yeah it’s scary, and it’s definitely the beginning of something sinister, but we won’t witness an AI uprising, at least not in our lifetime. Although I do worry for our children and our children’s children, were closer to 100% autonomous and self sufficient AI than we ever have been before, and it’s only going to get better
