Netflix Posts Viewer Data on Every Show, Film for First Time
Netflix is ready to tell the world how many people watch its shows. On Tuesday, the company released global midyear viewer data for every title on its service, the first of what Netflix said will be regular reports. Very cool to learn. I wish all of this data was made public and searchable by law so that Hollywood’s notoriously shady accounting practices can be reformed and we can truly begin to see the REAL economics of the industry… This helps immensely… Plus the data is just really cool!
