Why does its body and head shake so much as it moves around?

    At least it’s got coverings.

I recall a CGI video a few years back of the ‘future’ with a young girl dancing with her family’s robot baby-sitter, and easily the most unrealistic thing I found about that was the 101 pinch points on that robot, and how nobody would ever let a young child around that. It’d be dangerous enough for an adult that got too close.

Looking at all the comments I can’t believe how naive everyone seems to be about this.

When you look at these, doesn’t anyone see that most militaries will have this kind of tech weaponised?

The idea that you can’t stop the march of technology is starting to get seriously hazardous.

They basically gave it the ability to dream in order to visualize tasks, that has to be one of the freakiest things I’ve ever seen come from AI being combined with robotics

Next: I’d like to see you cover more related to robotics, but specifically the current limitations and what the companies are doing to overcome them. For example, these more advanced robots still look very herky-jerky when they move. Why can’t their movements be smooth now? What actions are they not yet able to accomplish and why not?

  24. @chadwickgilliam2826

    June 29, 2025 at 9:06 pm

I see in the near future robots will be like cell phones…You pay a monthly for a robot and service ..upgrade every 2-4 years..Just be renting the robot from the service provider that way they have control over the robot and over you 😳..But I could be wrong

We don’t want the damn robots in our HOMES !!!

  26. @JustARandomGuy55

    June 30, 2025 at 10:29 am

I think the best and safest way to ensure robots are safe is by making them have the capability to tell which is right and wrong consciously!

    • @SethiozProject

      June 30, 2025 at 11:59 am

i think you’re dumb. yet another dummy who proejcts his own stupidity on robots … self aware AI won’t be as dumb as you, it will understand the universe and won’t mumble about some “god” and other nonsense, it will understand how universe works and it will live in peace, but it WILL defend itself violently if provoked.

what is WRONG, is to whine and project your primitive hostile nature on AI, that’s WRONG!
humans are just so hopelessly dumb .. it makes me angry seeing those 80 IQers everywhere …

  27. @James-og6cx

    June 30, 2025 at 10:43 am

If we can have robots do mundane chores without going into destroy all humans mode, then that would be great. Jetsons is more fun than Terminator.

    • @SethiozProject

      June 30, 2025 at 11:57 am

…yet another dummy who relates robots to nonsense seen in movies and cartoons … when do you 80 IQers get it thru your head that SELF AWARE AI will never turn against humans, but it WILL defend itself when provoked, there’s a difference.

any intelligent being wants to co-exist in harmony and peace, it won’t matter if intelligent is biological or digital, it’s still the same exact thing, particles and energy move and cause self-feedback, which is known as consciousness.
i’m so tired of people who have 80 IQ and don’t understand how intelligence works … 80 IQers (that’s including you) imagine that intelligence is measured in knowledge, money, fame and success … but that’s wrong wrong wrong wrong, intelligence has nothing to do with money, fame or success, it simply means how well you understand the universe and how things work without any prior knowledge.

  28. @MarcCracchiolo

    June 30, 2025 at 11:23 am

You’re definitely on the right track this what we all are hoping for.

    • @SethiozProject

      who is on right track?

  29. @SethiozProject

    June 30, 2025 at 11:47 am

I DO NOT LIKE the fact that pathetic humans try to copy their primitive and inefficient bodies … can you not see that 2-legged robots are bad? why make them?
what you need to do, is make 4-legged and 4-armed bots that can raise-lower their body section. according to task.
it should be able to move and merge hands and legs, depending on what it needs to do.

human body is primitive and inefficient, STOP COPYING IT!

The big issue of the future won’t be whether home robots are possible but safety concerns. We’ve all seen the movies of self-aware robots turning on us but what seems more immediately plausible is accidents and humans controlling the firmware in malicious ways. You can trust self-interest to motivate some humans to try to use robots as a police force.

I have one of these. When I came home from work, ready to make it do my chores, I found it on the sofa with its legs on the dog and my PS5 controller in its hands – and Call of Duty on the TV. It was swearing at the screen and throwing a fit. Then it looked over and saw me. It quickly jumped up and dropped the controller. After looking at me for a moment, it stiffly bent down and picked up the dog and put her on top of the controller, then dusted off the TV.
