These are prototypes. On a commercial scale, you still need natural sunlight and rainwater along with the humidity and soil conditions. And not all crops can be cultivated in these conditions.

Oh, this is where those terrible tasting crunchy strawberries come from! I appreciate the efforts and the ideal, but there is absolutely no replacement for healthy natural soils. The lack of micro organism in these systems makes for an inferior product that has dramatically less nutritional value in it. and just how much plastic can ya use???
