For a long time, the conveyor belt of ideas moved from the West to the East, says business strategy expert Neeraj Aggarwal. But now, Asia’s rising cultural and intellectual influence is redefining this established order. He explores how Asia’s booming culture and economy — from K-pop to cutting-edge tech — is sparking creative solutions to global challenges and reshaping the future in unexpected ways. (Recorded at TED@BCG on September 12, 2024)

He genuinely didn’t speak about K-Pop for more than one sentence in the beginning of the video. The majority of the talk was about FinTech, Green Technology innovation and broader economic influence and thought leadership in social consciousness. Did you even watch the talk?

I am hopeful lessons from the East can help with our growing need for collaboration. Things I miss here are:
The role of the Asian diaspora in East West relationships.
The changing lives of women in Asian business- references to family business and family unity were very interesting by skipping this factor.
