The government is coming for your coins, Jackie. The banks (donors) will send ’em to thug you out of your collection. They have real precious metal in ’em, so they’re not safe. When people remember that their money is just honored paper, you’d better already be at your Cayman estate with them, and they’d better be hidden if you have a decent amount.
Thankfully, I have so little that I don’t need to hide mine. It’d be a waste of gas/energy to come and get ’em, and I’m too poor to have the transportation necessary to turn in my pittance. Lol. I’ll probably just get mobbed and eaten by other hungry peasants.. The survivors of the scuffle will have my coins as spoils.

Jack wasn’t even far off with saying 1792 because the coin was actually minted in 1793

My favorite coin is the “Lady wiith a baby” dollar. I think Ms. Charbonneau is totally cool, and as a pathfinder, interpreter, and diplomat, she was worth far more to the Lewis & Clarke “Corps of Discovery ” than her husband, who was the family member who was paid to do the exploration. I can tell you the baby’s name is “Pompey” which is a historic Roman name, but I cannot tell you whether Missus Charbonneau’s name is spelled with a “g” or a “j”, nevermind how she would have pronounced it herself 😊 !

I’m also a numismatist. My favorite coin is and always will be the Walking Liberty half dollar. It’s such a beautiful coin.
