I think that it’s CRAP! The keyboard hasnt change since the iphone 4S! I mean COME ON APPLE!! We’ve got a monster 6.8″ screen on the Max and there is still NO 5th number row keyboard! And the app folders are stil 3X3 instead of FULL screen!! Seriously WTF?

Android OS was choppy bloated in its earlier years and then copied iOS interfaces in later years.

Most likely, the liquid glass will go the way of the iOS 7 pastel color scheme.

It is a nice facelift, albeit copied from many sources. Also consolidating the complexity of the camera app is a good call.

iOS 26 looks remarkably bad. Icons are blurry and the design feels outdated.

  25. @nelsonmei9527

    June 10, 2025 at 8:50 pm

It would be hard to see the icons, the contrast will be terrible.

As long as Mentally blind people are in this universe Apple will keep on sell and make them believe their regular normal much expensive repair protected phones (iphones)

day by day, the things we see and interact with, all are losing colour, things are now only serving purpose not energy colour or joy- look at the phones, cars and streets of today, compared to just 10, 15 years ago and notice the difference.

It can be easy to look back and see other examples of this glass UI design being attempted. But Apple is very deliberate in what they do. I believe this Liquid Glass design is actually a set up for Apple Glasses. Essentially they’re prepping users to get used to a the transparency that you’d get with UI on glasses. With Apple it’s never really what they’re doing that drives innovation. It’s why they’re doing it. If you feel underwhelmed or like you’ve seen it before that’s exactly what they want. They want it to feel familiar and easy so when they release something new and different it’s easy to jump in because you’re already familiar with it

You hit the nail on the head! It happens everytime! People who don’t like Apple get loud and complain then boom Apple changes the entire industry and they follow suit

It’s time to admit the system is simply bad engineered full of bugs, unreasonable approaches and defective implementations. I mean it’s hard to believe but in iOS you may miss some appointment or even alarm because notification won’t work something you couldn’t even imagine on Android
