The spec on these is awful. It was good for 2010. I can’t even believe they still spec cameras for this purpose like this.

      June 4, 2022 at 10:53 pm

It’s a camera..on your wrist..what did u expect? Its sole purpose is to make video call from Apple Watch possible. That’s it

@Kendri Nawaskoro yep, and naturally the specs will improve over time.

Besides this is a very early first gen product, and has potential to offer heaps of other features that smart watches cannot due to their size.

      + Better camera
+ bigger storage – possibly could be used as a supplement.
      + bigger battery
      + have a flashlight.

At that size you may as well strap your watch to your wrist

that’s where I usually put my watch 🙂

This is literally the dumbest product I’ve ever seen, and I’m normally really optimistic about products like this

concept is great but it’s like buying Wheel without Body of Lambo, wristcam should learn marketing not only innovated , it will fail evantually no worth of that money

Good report. Terrible terrible product. If Apple would include a small camera on the Apple Watch I would probably upgrade to get it but never a third-party camera.

Wow, that’s not really gonna sell. I don’t know why they aren’t into gestures, snap your fingers trigger siri, make your hand into a phone to place a call, swipe your hand to skip a track, stuff like that.

I was able to do this 10 years back in my chinese wrist watch. Grow up apple stop copying chinese cheap brands.

Finally I can have a cool video watch like Bulma.

Considering that for that price you can have a smartphone, this gadget should have at leat 2 cameras, a wide angle and the main one.
Plus, it should record also 60fps at 1080p.
I mean, you can record videos….

Hard pass. To big bulky and ugly for the streamlined apple watch

This company was a scam. And it was extreme big.

  19. Justin Stewart

    June 4, 2022 at 11:15 pm

Well this seems rather useless, if not redundant.

  20. Duane Locsin

    June 4, 2022 at 11:24 pm

This is actually a great idea!!! It has plenty of potential that smart watches can not do due to their size.
+ Better camera – has the physical room for zoom shots/videos
+ Flashlight – always available on your wrist
+ Micro SD slot – fit 1TB of storage and also act as external storage for the smartwatch
    + Bigger personal speakers

2010 camera specs for a first gen of these things can of course improve in subsequent iterations.

The argument for this kind of device is to increase the capabilities of your smart watch so it could be used as an alternative to smart phones

like say you are jogging, swimming and to have handy features on your wrist.

This ought to have ‘connector’ adaptors you can swap out to fit so you can use it on any Android smart watches as well.
