If I had a ruble for every minute I spent on YouTube, I’d be a millionaire by now💝

Nintendo is genius. They put a cheaply made controller (the joy cons) with the console, and they make you pay for a better pro controller.

Not being able to use them on PC is kind of a bummer. That being said, I’m sure 3rd party manufacturers will have their own controllers out to give the market options.
Good to see that the only thing missing would be a “c” button.

8bitdo make superb controllers that are cheaper and work cross-platform in most cases

It’s working on PC with a USB mode enabler as a regular Switch Pro controller via ProCon2 enabler tool, same with the GC cont, people are working on getting closer to full functionality daily, 8bitdo is also working on getting their adapters to recognize both of them, knowing Brooke they’re likely on it as well.

Nah fam. Once you live with back buttons, you can never go back. My Switch 1 Pro Controller began collecting dust the moment I bought my 8bitdo and Fusion Pro Controllers for the Switch. It’s just way to comfortable to have those easily accessible programmable buttons in that location. And there have been plenty of times where a headphone jack on the controller would have been nice, but ever since they enabled bluetooth headphone support it’s less needed.

i would like it for the back buttons. i could care less about the game chat button. i’ll probably add it to my holiday wish list this holiday, unless i see a crazy deal before hand.

Over $80 for a controller is wild. I will stick to my Pro controller from Switch 1

      June 28, 2025 at 4:38 pm

Same for now. Sucks I can’t turn on Switch 2 with Switch pro controller.

I will definitely pick one up. apparently it’s sold out. OG pro controller lasted 8 years, time to retire it.

Removing PC compatibility is an absolute deal breaker.

    • @TheAkuman27

      June 28, 2025 at 12:58 pm

It should be added later, it is Microsoft and steam’s job to make them compatible, the first one took some time too.

  10. @JRAnalyzes

    June 28, 2025 at 11:51 am

The analog sticks are not the same as the original pro controller. They feel way different …They even really use compare and hold both the pro 1 and pro 2? Lol

A magnificent modern controller for playing FPS games like CP 2077

  12. @ninjamasterdave

    June 28, 2025 at 2:19 pm

I’ll buy it just for the headphone jack

  13. @LuxOx412

    June 28, 2025 at 2:44 pm

For its price, which is 15 dollars more than the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller and internationally, it doubles its price (At least in Chile where it has a price of 100-120 thousand Chilean pesos, which is almost double the first controller), just for the addition of buttons and the headphone jack (Which should have been integrated into the first controller), which was already included in previous generations on other consoles. It makes it not worth buying at all.

    June 28, 2025 at 3:07 pm

If you are concerned about ergonomics you also shouldn’t assume they will hold the same way. The grips were changed for Switch 2 and the original may be a better fit.

  15. @JillSandwiches-uq2fw

    June 28, 2025 at 3:17 pm

The Switch 2 is backwards compatible with Switch controllers so why would anyone waste their money on these overpriced controllers? 🤔

  16. @bossman5396
