We have an immune system that makes us immune… ask the homeless…don’t need a man-made immune system. Wake up everybody and go outside.

Here’s the thing, if a UV light is strong enough to kill a virus, it is also strong enough to damage human cells. So, you cannot be close to it when it’s on.

Okay guys listen up for I’m going to say this once and it is a SECRET. DON’T SPEND your money on fancy gadgets. Grab a bucket, some rubber gloves, a cloth, soap and water. Scrub and wash. Then grab a clean glass fill it with whiskey and enjoy the feeling of killing those pesky gems down your throat.

some of these products are scams, leds that are blue or purple are not necessarily uv. a lot of these fakes are sold as sterilization boxes or phone disinfectants.

??? When looking at a UV light through a camera what wavelengths does the screen display it at.???
Aditya
October 25, 2020 at 5:25 pm
It will be within the range of visible light only ie ≥600nm (approx). Screens don’t emit UV spectrum….

Room wide UV-C disinfection devices with motion sensors to TURN THRM OFF if anyone has been in the room during any part of the last TWO HOURS along with an over riding timer to allow them to only operate during specific times of the day when no one should be in the room such as at night? Or during school hours for a kids room?

the only uvc lamps that work are flourecent bulbs. alot of these “disinfectant lights” dont work as they use led diodes. currently we do not have uv led diodes that emit enough light to disinfect surfaces or be photosynthetic to plants.

Last week my wife read about a lady in LA that got back from work to her furnished apartment to find what looked like a cool desk lamp placed by the landlord. She turned the lamp on and began working. After 20 minutes her eyes became really irritated and she couldn’t open them anymore. She was taken to the ER on excruciating pain. The nurse had to anesthecise her to be able to open her eye lids. They asked about UVC light exposure and that’s when she mentioned the “desk lamp”. She seems to be recovering well now but don’t know yet if there will be any long term damage.

I’m no scientist, but wouldn’t using “far UVC” make it so that the only things that don’t die are those few stronger things?
If that’s the case then wouldn’t they evolve to ALL be that strong?

There’s a ozone/UV light in my 1963 RCA Whirlpool dryer and still works all these years and definitely sanitizes things so I am good. Won’t need to buy any of these UVC/UV/Ozone lights off of the internet anytime soon 🙂

Good article. I wish more people would take note of it. We got a box style one from a company called The UV Works, which has data that backed up their product in line with what is here. Since it contains all of the UV it should be much safer and effective.

would someone please give me the links to UV manufactures mentioned in the video, because there are a lot of companies with same names, I’m from europe so when a do a google search for example for “smart UV” I get a big list of UV light manufactures with the name “smart UV” and I don’t know which one is the correct manufacturer or if anyone can recommend a europe company or even better a U.K. company, preferably where i won’t have to sell my BOTH my kidneys to afford their product,
(one manufacturer was listing prices in to thousands of dollars for a simple uv light)

So if someone wanted to sanitize a whole room with uvc light perhaps by using a ceiling light would it be safe for them to do it if they could turn the light on remotely when outside of the room with the door closed? Also what’s the name of that lunch box looking sanitizer towards the end of the video and is it a good one to use?
