The Controversial Climate Tool Funding Real Change | Sandeep Roy Choudhury | TED
If a company plants trees to offset its pollution, is that climate progress — or is it greenwashing? Critics of carbon markets say it’s the latter. But Sandeep Roy Choudhury, who’s spent two decades financing climate projects from rural cookstoves to coastal forests, says the real failure is discouraging companies from even trying. Hear his…

Great presentation. My angle on this is that I realize I am who I am. Acceptance. I practice my arts, play when possible, take things WAY too seriously on occasion, and try to take care of myself. I expect no more or less from this life. If I am in pursuit of anything, it is simply experiencing my life before it changes to the next phase!

This was such a powerful and honest talk. It really opened my eyes to how resilience doesn’t mean never falling apart — it means learning how to rebuild and grow from those hard moments. I liked how the speaker shared her personal experiences and connected them to making a real impact in the world. It reminded me that even when life gets tough, we can still find ways to help others and create positive change.

this was one of the best ted’s i have ever listened to, although i haven’t seen many ted but that doesnt matter what matters is, whatever she said what ever she shared isn’t just applies to her, we all have some trauma in our lives and what ever we do in our future is just an outcome of that in our daily lives. i too wasnt praised when i scored good but was told that i should not overconfident on the other hand when i scored less words full of hatred was thrown at me. In my entire student career there is not a single report card where i came home happily. i was always scared of parents teacher meeting because i knew teacher will call me an average and ill be treated according to her remark, in fact in my 11, 12 i didnt even want to go school and i didnt go to school anyhow, though i regret that but it was just me saving myself from those words and today i seek recognition at every place lying to everyone to be praised. that was me until last week, ill change now and anyone who sees this comment in future could you please remind me to look back at this comment again to remind my future self of this day when wisdom hit me?
