Every year, CNET tests a lot of phones from companies like Apple, Google and Samsung. We review everything from the newest iPhone and Galaxy Ultra models to foldables like the Motorola Razr and Galaxy Z Flip. We put each phone we review through a series of tests that push the camera, battery, screen and software to their limits. Here’s a look at CNET’s testing process for phone reviews.

How is an upload from a tech channel only in 1080p regarding camera quality?
1080p bitrate on YouTube is trash.

Hi. For an english student, can you please ask my question: Is it ok the name of the video? I think the name could be “How does CNET test phones?”

The current title and yours mean the same thing, and both are correct grammatically.

That’s interesting. Though, I wonder why CNET has decided to release this video now. Could it be related to a recent scandal happening to another media company?

Call quality, touch response, smooth scrolling. Does the phone lag during text messaging? Does it overheat frequently? Any weird bugs or glitches while online?

when are you checking PWM and temporal dithering on smartphones, tablets etc?
Companies use it but never mention it which for some people means headaches, eyestrain and even nausia….and returning it
