I have also suffered from depression and I was almost about to die. What had happened was that my peers had connections of their own and they used it to secretly prepare for an engineering entrance exam. The exam depends heavily upon guidance from people who have decades worth experience in assessing the question patterns and a massive syllabus, which is described in a vague manner for people who don’t have any experience. What I have realised now, is that they probably don’t even have the necessary permissions to use or teach any of those concepts, because I was unable to use a few of them in my products (others granted it to me because of my exceptional product). Even the questions aren’t necessarily authentic. What happens is that at college, you will learn concepts that can be used to solve those problems very easily, within seconds and the answers will seem obvious. However, if you don’t have the right training (only a few people have the privilege of receiving the right training in all of the concepts, others know a few tricks, but most have to rely on regular pre-college textbooks), you will have to independently derive those concepts while practising, or in exam, which makes it even more difficult for common people, like me. Moreover, the teachers that provide training discourage out of the box thinking, and coming up with innovative new solutions. Instead, they want you to replicate algorithms that they don’t even own. This makes them favour those students (and provide extra training to) who can replicate fast, without thinking. We now know which of the two is more valuable in the industry. I had to go through extreme pain to get back in form, as people were demoralising/discouraging me (there were other reasons for it too). Once I finally started recovering, they put me in prison and tried driving me crazy and I’m still suffering because of that.

The lack of fair pay is at the top of the problem. How about a living wage to begin with.

My Mom has taught thousands of people Yoga for free since it is believed that good health and education should be accessible to all. Now these folks create an app, marketing it to be as emergency and charge exorbitant fees
