I remember when cell phones used to have antennas, and now they’re getting all crazy with the folding screens…🙄💻

People don’t want a book for a phone much less shoving that book in their pockets.

A new benchmark for Samsung and other manufacturers.
And hopefully, the trifold should become more affordable once we go past the prototype phase!
USD2,000 is insane for a TV let alone a pocket phone that will become obsolete after a few years!

Hmm. So we moved away from flips, and it seems we are slowly going back 😂

You do know the foldable phones has been around for years?!?!
@DVM8099
November 3, 2024 at 10:21 am
@@NextNate03 yes lol. And time after time again, they prove to be more niche, than useful. First it’s one fold, then it’s two, and now three? What’s next 4? 😂😂😂

Literally nobody asked for this. Just ridiculous waste of resources.

They said the same thing about Smart Phones.
Microsoft had even laughed at Apple when they announced the original IPhone.

After owning a Z-Flip. The creases were the source of failure. I replaced it after a year with a new phone under warranty. The replacement phone when died the same death after 1 year. The crease in the folding screen is the Achilles heel.

What on Earth possessed Huawei to think an exposed folding edge was a good idea? 🤦♂️

Why go through all that trouble for a phone manufacture that is banned in the USA?!?!

Greatest phone and piece oftech I’ve seen since a decade .. it’s too late CNET wait till next year to review it ..

Seems like they may as well call it the first quad folding phone, too.
Considering it only has two hinges and only folds twice. They might as well keep making up other things it does.

@CNET I am glad to hear that Samsung may be launching a tri-folding smartphone in 2025. Because if Samsung’s phone is even remotely close to how Huawei made theirs, I am sold.
