I’m worried they will be top heavy and rotate out of your ears. The feature set is perfect but silicone tipped earbuds rarely ever fit my ears.

Bring back the headphone jack,,, for the best quality….

    May 11, 2022 at 10:20 pm

I’m worried about the fit of the earbuds and the controls. Other than that, this looks awesome!!!

How can you properly review a product if you don’t have it ? What a sham.

    • Funcrush

      May 11, 2022 at 10:56 pm

i mean, did you watch the video? its not a review.

    • Darren A

      May 11, 2022 at 11:02 pm

@Funcrush Then what’s the point ? Just spew out whatever garbo the manufacturer wants you to hear ? This just turns into an advert.

    • Funcrush

      May 11, 2022 at 11:26 pm

@Darren A turn off YouTube man

Tim : So, Pixel Buds Pro with ANC and our Spatial Audio… Really Google? Stop me if you’ve heard this one before. 😂🤦‍♂

  7. Alan Ball

    May 11, 2022 at 10:36 pm

My iqbuds from nuheara can not only pass through but also selectively pass through audio. I’m going to be really sad if they put all this processing in it without even basic eq for pass through.

    May 11, 2022 at 10:51 pm

If they’re providing Spatial Audio, you think that means YouTube Music will also implement Spatial sound?

    • C Alvz

      May 12, 2022 at 1:19 am

Not neccesarly but they should cause other streaming services had “Spatial Audio” or “360 Audio”

  9. UnhumanNewman

    May 11, 2022 at 10:51 pm

    “Universal Fit”

Nothing fits in my ear properly. Screw ear buds.

Compy memory foam tips fix this on any earbuds … plus they give perfect sound isolation / comfort

Still have the original buds, they’re brill as I hate in ear buds, wish they have an option like that still

Ugh, these seem perfect, but I have tiny ears.

      May 12, 2022 at 6:43 pm

Did you try any pixel buds?

    • grahamjl766

      May 12, 2022 at 6:54 pm

@Tru ville No, I have galaxy buds 2, and those were perfect, and these look larger. I lost my buds last week and now I’m looking for an upgrade and have a Pixel phone so I’ll prob wait 2 weeks after release to see what the reviews say.

more importantly, can they output the same quality of sound wired earbuds, especially dual drivers, can? bluetooth earbuds and headphones are terrible for music, in my experience at least.

    • Chocoretto

      May 12, 2022 at 4:20 am

Most of the space inside a wireless earbud is taken up by the SOC and battery, no room for larger drivers or hybrid DD/BA setup.

    • brianv3ntura

      May 12, 2022 at 3:03 pm

No. Bluetooth in general just doesnt have the bandwidth capability to match wired.

  15. Biju Varghese

    May 12, 2022 at 3:46 am

So you need a Pixel phone with the Pixel buds pro for that spatial audio to work?

    • Brian’sRoom

      May 12, 2022 at 3:48 am

      Probably

  16. Rudy Duarte

Now everyone has wireless buds. At least we have plenty of buds to hang out with now.

  22. NoBaconForYou

I just hope the transparency mode has really low latency. Probably gonna get these to replace my old pixel buds

  23. Edgar Gomtsyan

    May 12, 2022 at 6:45 am

I really concerned about microphone quality, and ability to talk in noise environments

    • Garrett Stewart

      May 12, 2022 at 3:37 pm

If the Series A are any help, someone tested while on the phone near a busy New York street and said they were good.

  24. Emanuel Wallace

    May 12, 2022 at 7:46 am

The A-series Buds were my first pair and they work fine for me. I just wish there was a gesture on the buds to adjust the volume.

    • Ashmik Ray

      May 14, 2022 at 10:17 pm

the pixel buds 2 has them but the connection sucks

  25. cro&sang

    May 12, 2022 at 7:48 am

To beat the AirPods Pro, which came out two and a half years ago, it would have to be relatively cheap, and the functionality would have to be better

    • Donkey Danny

      May 12, 2022 at 5:07 pm

$199, the sound quality better be out of this world and the anc better be amazing

  26. Sudip Chatterjee

Looks promising! Let’s hope that these keep up with such raves from Lexy.

  27. Nathan Baker

    May 12, 2022 at 11:41 am

Just returned the Galaxy buds pro cause they don’t have wing tips and kept falling out of my small ears. No wing tips on the pixel buds pro is a big down side to me, hopefully they work for me but not holding my breath

  28. Christopher Vinson

    May 12, 2022 at 12:02 pm

Pixel Buds are complete trash. I am and continue to be an Android guy. I have no issues with my Pixel phone, but the buds are as bad as buds get.

  29. Link Jones

    May 12, 2022 at 2:45 pm

I wish they didnt move away from the ear hook design. I cant wear this style ever 🙁 I really want to go pixel bud, but would not buy these.

samsung has SCALABLE codec sony has LDAC qualcomm has APTX HD so what will google have just boring AAC

  31. Marlon Turner

    May 12, 2022 at 5:53 pm

I have the 2020 pixel buds. I have small ears and I’m worried about the wing tips not being there. Will they stay in your ears as good as the original ones and the a series?

  32. Theo Philpot

    May 12, 2022 at 6:13 pm

These are actually kind of irritating to me. I owned the original Pixel Buds (with the wire between the two) and transitioned to the Pixel Buds 2 (discontinued nicer version that the A-Series is based on). Google now is calling the second gen buds Pixel Buds and is trying to erase the existence of the first gen. It was annoying that the second gen didn’t have noise cancellation back then, and that is the only feature I am excited about for the Pros. I like the fit and the battery life of my current headphones, and I don’t know if these will be a worthwhile upgrade.

The other thing is the price. These are about twice as expensive as the A buds, but only $20 more expensive than the original second gen buds! I would have expected them to have been priced closer to the AirPod pros, maybe $239. I will probably end up buying these but I am less than stoked.

I know you weren’t trying to be but your comment is hilarious. You’re mad but they already got you lmao, I feel the exact same way.

    • Theo Philpot

@matthew Cruz yup… Who am I kidding I’m preordering these asap

bud’s sound better then line ear phone now?

  39. Nizar Noor

    May 14, 2022 at 11:42 pm

Pixel Buds charging case is the best charging case design for wireless earbuds, in my opinion. It’s a big factor for me. I think I’m going to get these for the ANC, but I’ll keep my 2nd Pixel Buds for gym/running (because of the wing tips).
