The Samsung S20 FE is only $599.. Google, you are going to have a little price adjustment in order to sell these things…

People comparing the Pixel 5 with Samsung phones when Samsung cameras still have the same quality from 10 years ago.

Mario García Ive got an iphone but a friend of mine as a s20 and so if its the same as ten years ago …. Samsung was way ahead.

$699 for a 765G phone ? No thanks ! Galaxy s20 FE is cheaper and has 865. I’d rather buy 4a 5G, much better deal.

Have a feeling pixel 5 will be a very slight upgrade to pixel 4

Maybe I’ll get a second hand pixel 4xl. Probably a better deal and still 2 years left of software updates… Don’t like the face unlock though

  18. You are Sexy

    September 29, 2020 at 12:12 am

Just for the record, google does NOT control both software and hardware. The HARDWARE is Qualcomm which is NOT owned or MADE by Google.

  19. Redfirebird 350

    September 29, 2020 at 12:12 am

Good luck Google, competing with Samsung S20 FE and the soon to be release Iphone 12…just because Google want to use a mid range chip helped by software doesn’t justify the price…Just because a guy running in flip-flops at the same speed that another guy wearing Nike, that doesn’t mean that you can sell those flip-flops for the same price than the Nike… in other words… Why paying $700 for a mid range tip when you can get the latest chip for the same price?

I’ve never been this hype for a phone, hopefully it delivers cuz I want Google to win this year

So here is a nice Idea…
Give us the option to install Android GO on a super duper phone.
Imagine SD 865 with android GO.

  23. Parthy

    September 29, 2020 at 12:43 am

Unlike Apple, none of the Android makers r making their own chips, buy Silicon frm Qualcomm and OS frm Google and don’t provide service support like Apple but CHARGE EQUAL TO APPLE

  24. Jo Zh

    September 29, 2020 at 1:19 am

They should sell lower price than S20 FE. Both phones will have support for 3 years so no difference.. 699 for 700 SOC is a joke.

  31. Andreas Charalambous

Only thing i wanted from previous pixels were a huge battery and the Pixel 5 has a decent sized, with a power efficient but also more than enough powerful CPU! i am 1000000% buying this pixel!

  32. Fezz Bomb

    September 29, 2020 at 3:15 pm

I’m pretty sure Samsung has made a giant blow to the pixel 5 sales (s20 fe) at the same price you get better performance.

For me it’s a no brainer and go for the s20 fe with the sd 865, but I will have to see how well google can make their software run on the 765

    I love this phone

  34. Austin Knops

    September 29, 2020 at 3:41 pm

I’m sold on this phone whether its a plastic back or not, its the size of iphone 11 pro which is perfect with a 6 inch display, nice uniform bezels with hole punch cutout makes it look modern, has a flat display, 7nm SD 765G with a 4080mah battery should make battery life great, clean software, 90hz is perfect balance of fluidity and battery consumption, best in class cameras, id rather fp reader be on power button but it being on the back is good as well. Hoping the display gets bright enough 800 nits + for outdoor use

  35. MICKY MOUSE

    September 29, 2020 at 4:34 pm

Google your serious 18 watts “fast” charging 2 years too late and fingerprint sensor on the back haha every 300 € cell phone now has inDisplay fingerprint sensor only real fans will buy…

  36. Joel Tilson

    September 29, 2020 at 4:40 pm

    One Plus 8 is better.

  37. Mostafa El-Sayed

    September 29, 2020 at 4:47 pm

I have the 4XL and I am super happy with it, screen is amazing (brightness under the sun maybe an issue but not a big one)
Vv fast , 90hz display , if there is no 5 XL , I will skip this year

  38. Shrijan Aryal

    September 29, 2020 at 5:52 pm

S20fe sadly will crush pixel 5’s sales figure.

  39. Brandon Bem

    September 29, 2020 at 6:46 pm

I really want that green, but I’m not convinced that I want the Pixel 5 (I have a Pixel 4 XL).

  40. Walker Jennings

this is a crazy idea how about a phone with no cameras?

I’m ready to replace my 2XL, the fingerprint reader is back, I don’t care about all the phone-obsessive tech numbers, it will work for me. First sign of a deal and I’m in.
