“Calling out” suggests a summary judgement. It’s valid that it’s all male. But questioning with a summary judgement doesn’t open up dialogue or make recognition of the bigger picture – it’s like chastising an enthusiastic to creative child who had wet his pants. Where she does open up the imagination is with the analogy with Da Vinci’s Last Supper. That shows a strength of visual analogy to permit the viewer to question and engage in their own dialogue.
