Humans add in the supports manually during the print.

@Expression yes, i noticed but it would be cool if it could print like light parts for supporting overhangs and you can like knock it of easly

I would like to have seen the floors printed.
Regarding rebar comments, I imagine the concrete mixture contains fiberglass in the mix which I believe would enhance strength, depending on the span and engineered specified weight limit. I donāt think the Cathedral of Notre Dame had rebar in itās structural core.

Not fibreglass but tiny, 7 to 10 mm long steel needles that make the concrete sturdy just as the traditional one!

Anyone with a 3D printers knows what a mess you can have with a failed print. Itās simple enough to just toss in the trash. A failed cement print that has solidified ā¦ not so much.

@EvenFive How do you plan on melting the kind of amount of plastic needed to make 8cm wide lines at an acceptable speed?

@Expression scaled up hardware. The real problem is cooling the plastic.

@Expression all Iām saying is sort out different kinds of plastics, then cut them up in small fine pieces and then melt them back together into one large projectā¦ kind of the same principle like a doddle gun, you donāt heat all the plastic at onceā¦ just the ones at the tip bringing your temperature must lower

Nice we have AI to replace workers. There has to be software AI can replace executives too since most companies executives meet revenue by laying off workers. An AI can do that way better and wonāt have romantic relationship with another human. Like the Mickey D former CEO did.
Alex Bakshi
August 17, 2020 at 11:15 am
Distopians wonāt let us do that. People think AI is dangerous and donāt think about the benefits it can give us. We humans are made to create. Only people like Musicians, Scientists, Programmers, Artists will never be replaced by AI because itās based on creativity. A person who doesnāt create is useless and obsolete.
