What is good is that you can control the camera with it and use live translate which is always handy

Because you need have an update. I have thr S24U and I don’t have it either!! We will get that option when we get the 8.5 UI. I have the beta 8.5 and it doesn’t have this option yet.

All these features are available to s25 ultra, right?

I think the biggest issue with the custom EQ is that the overall volume is noticeably lower, especially noticeable at max volume. Try it, first select any preset in the settings (balanced, dynamic, bass/treble boost, etc.), and then tamper with any of the sliders to activate custom and you’ll hear a drastic drop in overall volume, especially when you have it at max volume. Because of that I just stick with the Dynamic EQ.

but really besides that, I love these earbuds! especially a big upgrade from my first line-up Buds Pro

Yea I hate that. I think it’s more of a system fault. It’s been doing that with Samsung buds since the first version

I sooo wish I hadn’t bought them. I researched them heavily. Decided to purchase the pro version because of the “head gestures” feature. The manual said your phone has to be using one UI 8.0. Well they lied! Your phone has to be running 8.5. The only phone running 8.5 is the new S26. I have the trifold which may or may not ever get 8.5. Bottom line, the buds4 pro are worthless to me. I could have kept the old buds I had. Spent HOURS on the phone with Samsung who was sure the gesture works with 8.0 but finally figured it out. If you want the head gesture feature, do not buy them unless your phone currently runs 8.5

Yeah I don’t know about that – the noise cancelling and audio quality and volume is legendary. Those swipe features are mostly useless and left unused anyway

I’ve been a loyal customer of Samsung for years and own more than 13 of their devices—but this experience has been extremely disappointing.
I pre-ordered the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro on launch and was very excited to receive them. Unfortunately, that excitement didn’t last long. While simply changing the silicone ear tips (a basic feature), one of the tips tore apart while the other didn’t. This clearly suggests a quality or design flaw.
When I contacted Samsung, they immediately blamed me and claimed I didn’t follow the correct process. That explanation makes no sense—if I did it wrong, why did only one ear tip tear? They couldn’t provide a proper answer but still refused to take responsibility.
In the end, I had no choice but to pay $25 for a replacement. Now, nearly three weeks later, I’m still waiting with no update, no delivery, and no proper communication. I even had to call and ask them to send the earphones without the missing part, which is completely unacceptable.
Very poor product quality, even worse customer service, and zero accountability. This is not the level of service I expected from Samsung.
Loyalty clearly means nothing.

I got these for the Buds Pro 3 and they’re incredible. I didn’t have an issue with tearing, I just feel these have a slight texture on the surface, so they hug the ear canal.
