Facebook Might Ban Political Ads Ahead of Election
Jul.10 — Facebook Inc. is considering imposing a ban on political ads on its social network in the days leading up to the U.S. election in November, according to people familiar with the company’s thinking. Kurt Wagner broke the story and reports on “What’d You Miss?”

Should have been that way for all social media since day 1. If users are given carte blanche to spread false claims campaigns that effect the turnout of elections and political agendas, then that subject matter doesn’t belong on social networking platforms when it’s propaganda dressed up as real news.
