@extracelestial9527 the sooner they find out, the sooner the begin waging wars, strive to secure a legacy that outweighs what they’ve already achieved, making rapid decisions that they can benefit from before their juice runs out. We’re going to be seeing a very interesting, hyper accelerated, mass radicalized, future with incentivized wealth inequality

Remind me again what I’m paying $1,000,000,000,000 for:
    a) The EVs that are not appreciating assets
    b) The HW3 vehicles that will never be autonomous
    c) The truly affordable $24,990 EV that was canceled
    d) The ridiculed CyberFlop truck no one wants
    e) The $ZERO in Robotaxi income owners earn annually
    f) The non-existent marketing to inform on EVs and FSD
    g) Support of a campaign that ended the EV tax credit and rescinded fuel economy penalties
    h) The 1000s of Optimus robots that aren’t in Tesla factories
    i) The Robotaxis that aren’t covering half the U.S.
    j) The 45 U.S. states that don’t have Tesla insurance
    k) The 1000 solar roofs that aren’t being installed weekly
    l) The ZERO companies that have licensed FSD
    m) The “revolutionary” 4680 battery still not in Models S 3 X or Y
    n) The liability Tesla refuses for FSD’s crashes
    o) The bizarre treatment of women as reproductive tools to be corralled in a collective compound
    or
    p) The far right politics that delivered global brand destruction, set off Tesla protests, cratered sales, and triggered owner vandalism

Has Tesla become more cult around one person’s unending promises than mission-focused business that grows actual profits?

Musk should build a city. Not a redevelopment in a existing city a brand new city. As long as necessary but only 5 miles wide, where everyone lives in the heart of the city including the farmers. If the city’s 20 miles long then high street, park, tram, underground trains, rivers and industrial estate is 20 miles long. With mile long residential side streets for the length of the city. And no vechles on high street apart from tram. A high street the width of a 20 lane motorway. With roads only at back of high street. replicated on both sides of high street two and half miles aside to centre of the tramlines. With bridges over river from industrial estate to park to residential side streets to high street. Road connections from in-between residential buildings from back of high street to bridges to industrial estate, and underground trains from high street to industrial estate loops platform along side a platform that’s for stations the length of city.

Ok if a robot does 100% of my house chores it will save me a lot of time. But how will it solve poverty? It’s a form of outsourcing, and outsourcing doesn’t solve poverty. My bot can’t work for me, because my boss can buy 50 bots and not need to pay me. If anything it will cause more poverty.

Elon musk is John Carlyle in Elysium.
I haven’t figured out who Bezos is. Lately I watch both Elysium and I, Robot to see where our tech overlords want to send us.

Any ideas for good cryptocurrency and AI adjacent movies showing us the future . Nothing yet on my radar?

So… solving poverty, best (android) surgeons ever saving your life better than humans, eliminating crime, full self driving in <6 months, full production on semis with 500m range next year, etc... must be fun having a stage where millions will listen as you promise with certainty any idea that sounds good, even those that you cannot achieve. He's achieved more than most, but for the love of sanity, keep at least one foot in what is viable and tangible! Over-deliver for once instead of over-promising and then quietly glossing over what you failed to deliver.

He writes “sustainable abundance”, a positive term, in cyberpunk font not realizing that cyberpunk is a distopya for most people and only a utopia for the small elite. Obviously his “sustainable abundance” will be for few.

“Founder”..? Weren’t Tesla founded by some two random dudes..? Musk, true to his apartheid roots, taking credit for something he didn’t do..
If only he would’ve stayed OUT of politics and left Twitter to its own devices, right now he’d be consider a TRUE luminary.. AND, Tesla would still have majority of its customer base intact.. I don’t see “conservatives” and people who literally do not “believe” Climate Change miraculously replacing climate-concious “liberals”.. it would seem Tesla NEEDS to pivot from “renewable energy” and purely “EV’s” to “robotics”, “A.I.”, “Autonomous Taxis”, etc..
As for his “pay-package”.. ah yes, a guy who is ALREADY the “richest” person in the world, needs another TRILLION DOLLARS (???) .. apparently buying elections isn’t cheap.. I wonder if he will drop another “Zieg Hail” after he pays for another weirdo to win..
