Norwegian elk hound have two variants; Grey and black, they are both huntingdogs, used to hunt big game, but are better for different hunting styles ( Grey are easier to train, are often used as a loose trackdog that will go rigth up to the game and harras the game, making it stay in one spot, allerting the hunting party. the black is used on a leash tracking big game with its owner. Both are excellent trackers, and the black norwegian elkhound is concidered the best scandinavian dog for hunting brown bears, and is also used for hunting deer in the slopes of the western fjord of Norway being more compact i size.
Both are great family dogs, but tend to bark alot.
Both are concidered old breeds, dating around 4000 -(Grey) and 3500 (black) years back
They Grey elk hound is the Nathional dog of norway, and the emblem om the norwegian kennel club (NKK).
Althoug it is said in the video that the name is misleading, this is due to a bad translating; moose is called Elg in Norweagian.

this was so annoying to watch. Frenchies short and sneeze etc cause they are poorly bred dog…they can’t breath correctly and have tons of health prone issues. When people say its so cute or i love the pushed in face, i want to slap them and tell them. its a form of animal abuse promoting/breeding breeds that can’t breath properly.

Kombai: A breed known for its bravery and Loyalty and it stands it ground even against 5 dogs. It is very athletic and only listens to its master. – Going Extinct because no one cares
Rajapaalayam: A breed known for its Loyalty and hunting abilities. “Dog a man’s best friend” might have been articulated after seeing this breed of dog. – Going Extinct because no one cares.
