Can you really put a price on a good night’s sleep? I did my own experiment to learn how to improve my sleep over three weeks. I tried everything from a meditation app, to $200 massaging goggles, to a $2,500 infrared sauna. And it worked.

Cool video thanks. Any imagine how much that sleep study would cost even with insurance.
As you get older your sleep will get worse on average. Mine has.

She didn’t actually review any of the gadgets individually. This is pointless.

It would have been more informative if she spent a week with each item to see how the sleep score changed

So what did we learn?
Sleep trackers don’t provide any usable data, and they contradict real medical tests.
The placebo effect is much more potent than you realize.
The traditional advice given to improve sleep like, consistency and fully darkening a room, actually work.
Dogs like fancy pillows.
Thanks!!!

This video tries to do everything and at the end is pointless… what products are worth buying? Ok so everyone needs a proper sleep study and no gadgets? Then what’s the point of this video??

That’s an amazing video, I did that sleeping night test in the clinic, It looks exactly like that with the oxygen tube and all. My Galaxy watch usually gives me a good score but I was usually tired in the morning. The test pointed out that I usually have more than 100 episodes that wake me up during the night. And that’s not a horrible result, but explain some things.

When I was in my mid 30s, I purchased a waterbed from someone. They were leaving the apartment as I was moving in. I really loved it and I’m beginning to think I should get myself another one if I can because that was the best to sleep on

Sleep is probably most affected by diet and lifestyle. Thinking an expensive gadget will fix your problems is a terrible decision.

That study would have cost thousands of dollars out of pocket and they just say to talk to your doctor… Arent you paying for the specialist? Not much help. Ive had bad experiences with sleep issues and trying to find solutions – so far Im convinced the industry is a bit of a pseudoscience cash grab.

Congratulations on being a mom,
I guess sleep apnea and leg twitching is the main problem why our sleep could be broken.
