    knowing that Chinese-domestic chips are everywhere(Kirin, Hygon, Loongson, Ascend… ) I call those yield numbers bs

      Seeing that a lot of the training work is being done offshore and by smuggled H200s, yeah, it’s probably worse than 20%.

      @user-ul7xj8qe2k Offshore training is just a hoax on par with allegations of smuggling.
      The reason is simple – they want Nvidia to look much more needed than it is in reality.
      So yes. Those yield numbers are as pathetic as spy stories.

      @user-ul7xj8qe2k Why would they need to smuggle H200 since Trump decided to lift the ban on those ? you don’t make sense. But keep coping, and you’ll see someday like for many other areas where you underestimate China (space station, EV, high speed rail, nuclear reactors etc…), you’ll end up crying 🤣

    Rather than bolster, China is preventing US made spy and kill switch from spreading causing damages.

    China’s AI applications in its manufacturing is second to none. They already dominate AI integration in all areas of manufacturing including FMCG manufacturing, precision engineering / medical / educational….
