The new QC Earbuds have active noise canceling and cost $120 less than Bose’s flagship QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds. They’re not quite as good as the Ultras, but there’s a lot to like about them aside from a couple of small shortcomings. And they have a few features missing from the Ultras, including wireless charging. CNET editor David Carnoy reviews them.

Bose recently switched their included warranty to 1 year down from the 2 years they offered formally, so that’s something to be aware of before buying. God speed

This doesn’t make sense as a comparison. The AirPods 4 are an ear BUD, not an IEM. This is an IEM, an IN ear monitor. They are designed for different use cases and each have their own strengths and weaknesses.
Compare it to the two year old AirPod Pro 2, but not the AirPod 4 which are designed for people who don’t want things in their ear canal.

Why release a product quick clearly needs new firmware. Voice calling is such a critical feature. Bose make headsets for pilots, they should be nailing this

I’m over my AirPods Pro. Charging them has been horrible. I’m happy there’s other options

Really? I was thinking of getting some. Whats wrong with the charging? Issue not covered under warranty?

Hookless earbuds never stay in for very long. I do not see the point. A smaller case…? Make them with hooks.

Idea… Portable PCVR experience. A small headset with its graphical power on the outside connected as a booster back pack. Potentially run the latest Nvidia AMD graphics cards and all the other things youd find in a desktop or laptop, this would make the headset basically easier to create as it would free up space to make it thinner due to it utilising either the power of a laptop 💻 its connected to or the booster pack that its connected to in the small ergonomic backpack on the PCVR user.
Nice small headset with a small enough backpack thats able to run a graphics card fit to be in a desktop or high end laptop.
