If I’m anxious about something I twiddle my wedding band and probably come across as very guilty even if I’m not! I’d be awful at a lie detector test as I’m on loads of long term medication, including opiates, steroids and fentanyl. Presume this would affect the results would it? Also take a good amount of oral morphine some days and can seem drunk and slur even though I haven’t sipped any alcohol for 30 years

Wow, has it really been that long? Or maybe I found the original video after the fact. Anyway, THANK YOU THANK YOU to Mr. Navarro (Agent Navarro?) for agreeing to do these videos and especially for the courage – ESPECIALLY as an introvert – to look back at himself and even be able to frankly evaluate himself and tell us what was going on.

So the one thing I noticed was his feet and what that tells us. The direction of his left foot tells us that he’s engaged with the interview. The right foot says he’s holding back information or disinterest in the interactions. It’s a pretty unnatural position, but it may also be a standard for this person.

How do you avoid “over analyzing” movements that may be inconsequential? Such as adjusting because of an uncomfortable chair, or a pain in you back? Lots of people get uncomfortable after sitting for a long time, and that would have no bearing on their guilt or innocence. Also, what do you do if they have turrets or something? That’d have to make it nearly impossible. I know there’s science and facts behind body language, just curious how you see through the irrelevant.

The first thing i saw is his foot&leg position. For me it looks like he is ready to jump up at any second. He has his, i think, strong leg back getting it with a minimal rotation of the ankle into a good position to jump up and sprint away. His other leg seems stable on the ground altough a little wide open, maybe oriented in the direction of an opening through the cameras & lights or a door. Maybe the orientation of his other leg is also unusable as long as it is anchored on the ground it’ll give a good support for a rapid start somwhere.

      Yes, very true.
There was a fashion a few years ago for NLP in management.
I was assumed to be untrustworthy by my manager, because I didn’t meet her quite ferociously intense eye contact. In reality she just made me uncomfortable and so I would look away sometimes. Shame, because I was very conscientious actually and ended up leaving the job because I didn’t feel valued.
      Her loss.

This can be misconstrued and manipulated.

The more people emphasize on this the more messed up people will be. Humans aren’t robots.

People with psychopathic genes can easily master this. Is society choosing psychopaths to lead? Seems like it.

Of the things about his behaviour, even though it’s verbal, one that pops out for me is “often times”. Is it a regional thing?
Also the manspreading in the office filmed video.
I love his videos, I hope there will be more!
