All the reviews of the XPS 13 plus I’ve seen said the borderless trackpad was no issue. I don’t see why borders would be a problem when the trackpad is large and centred

Why do people knee deep in the Apple ecosystem even go to CES? There’s no apple products there

To find out what real innovation is happening, only to lie to themselves and convince themselves at the end of the day that Apple’s still better.

I’m really excited for Windows 12 leak and the AMD Phoenix APUs that includes the Zen4 CPU, RDNA3 GPU and XDNA AI architectures – the Ryzen 7040HS rated at 35-54 watts on TSMC 4nm promising 30+ hrs of battery life.
I’ve lost love for Windows but the leak by Microsoft CEO made me excited to imagine an OS that borrowed from Chrome OS cloud functionality and fused them with native processing all while leveraging AI. I’m hoping for a more seamless UI for touch, pen, keyboard and controller inputs better than what Windows 10X promised.

To try and make it look sleek even though it makes using the touchpad awkward.
I guess next they’d hide the keyboard until your fingers are fumbling on top of it…

For 1700 gaming laptop -> 500 dollar ps5, 500 dollar xbox series x and 700 dollars remaining for whatever maybe 4k display? Anyway 18 inch laptop plus monster power brick isn’t really portable lol.

The LG gram’s border light is useless, no one should expect the users to look away from the monitor to know where the border is rather than just touching it.

I’m considering acer laptop but do I get the 2022 one or the 2023 one if I can afford it? I just got rid of two new 2022 faulty hp omen laptops.

The problem with using gaming laptops as work from home desktop replacements is that they just get too hot at the keyboard & palm rest areas too use comfortably for any sustained period of time, even on the lightest of workloads.

Glad to see LG’s Gram range FINALLY getting some attention by these more mainstream tech outlets. It’s still less than what they deserve but at least it’s a start. Asians have had to work harder to get recognised anyway so what to do. LG have been churning out the best general purpose laptops by a huge margin since at least 2018, but nary a mention almost anywhere until maybe 2-3 months back. Hard work & patience pays off in the end.

LG gram is call gram because it’s under 1Kg at 999grams. Something Americans won’t understand.

Anyone buying an 18 inch laptop honestly screw you, just buy a desktop and take it with you.

Why is nobody actually giving Acer the credit for being the first company to have 3D screens on the laptops? Come on do your homework guys! Seems like all the reviewers are just copypasting the Asus promo texts into their reviews. Asus just does better job on the marketing front.

Mini LED is not going to replace OLED. That will be Micro LED. That’s a completely different technology.

Why do a lot of gaming laptops have an edge sticking out behind the screen?

It seems perfect to me that manufacturers have used Thunderbolt ports as a standard in low, medium and high-end laptops, it was completely necessary since the USB-C standard had the law the proximity to Thunderbolt, this port is for content creators who need to connect many professional monitors or for Music Producer’s who need an audio interface without interference and latency problems.
