I’ve never received such desperate compromises than from a car salesman trying to sell me a car that I was completely honest about not caring for & open about my other options down the street from other carmakers. My honesty truly made him believe I was playing hardball, even though I wasn’t. That taught me more than any other experience. He was still emailing me months later with new offers, after I had already decided on something else.
