This is truly a category where you could go either way, if you are not too deep into Apple land then the Fitbit gives you overall better stats but not much other features, while the Apple Watch will let you get the most out of the rest of your Apple services and stuff like unlocking your computer.

With Display off my sense lasts 6-7 days. I took it off charge on a Monday at 12 am and wore it all the way until Sunday at 10 am. It was at 10%

You can’t load your own mp3 music to the Fitbit Sense. That’s a deal-breaker for me. 😒

My suggestion: If you already have a one of the older Fitbit Versas or Ionic, keep it. Wait until all the features are activated before you buy the Sense or Versa 3.

If you aren’t doing anything urgent soon and want to take a nap without the stress of worrying when you fall asleep, and don’t want to accidentally over sleep or worrying so much when you will pass out that you can’t fall asleep, I think it would be an awesome feature for a watch to track when you fall asleep and set a time to wake you up in a designated time you want for a nap. For example a power nap at 15 to 20 minutes. It starts the timer when you fall asleep and then wakes you up after a certain amount of sleep when you nap. There are many types of naps so this would be beneficial for many set times.

Fitbit is awesome for rock climbing 🧗‍♀️ Fitbit can download mp3 songs😇 she is leaning towards Apple 🍏, you have to take these comparisons with the grain of salt, they do it so slightly that you don’t realize and lots of hacked features aren’t even mentioned 🤷‍♂️✌🏻

@Unapologetically Simar Yup totally acknowledge that – but then don’t advertise it as a key feature when it doesn’t come out in 2 years. They stated it’d be out months after release. Didn’t happen so I sold it.

When the first Apple Watch released, haters were bashing on it with all kind of comments. Well couple of years later it has proven that the Apple Watch is the best selling smartwatch and also the best smartwatch ever. Samsung, Huawei, Moto, and others tried to do the same thing but they all failed to beat Apple. The only exception is the Apple watch is only good for iPhone users, android users won’t take advantage of it. Also, the price of the Apple watch is also higher than most smart watches out there.

A lot of the lacking features of Apple Watch is accessible with 3rd party apps like Sleep tracking (Autosleep) and HR sone alert (Zones).

I think the watch that should have been compared to the Apple watch should have been the Ticwatch Pro 3. The Fitbit isn’t really an all-rounder.

Apple should make Apple Watchs compatible with Android phones. That they can sell a lot more APs than they already do.

  40. Allan Alberts

    October 20, 2020 at 11:49 am

I mean, you can fix the whole delay issue by choosing the type of exercise before you begin. Also fitbits battery life is superior to apple watchs. I do not want to be charging that thing ever 1st 2nd day. Fitbits sw will be updated to, so it runs faster. The whole music issue is a problem but eh get the other watchs like iconic, they have music storage and gps capability.

  44. ross bennett

Apple make good products but the most important part of a watch is battery life and here we are on series 6 and Apple have not yet figured it out to last more than 36 hours.. whilst others have! But known Apple they have figured it out and refuse to improve battery life so they can bring out a new mobile every year.
