It’s that time of year again where we get to see what apps Apple is sherlocking, which is how some folks refer to the moment when Apple releases a new feature that does the same thing as an existing third-party app. The term comes from a file search app called Sherlock, which Apple released more than 20 years ago, making a similar app called Watson redundant. (Not subtle!) There are a handful of apps that may be stressed now that their function is going to be a part of ios 18.

    If you’re business model is so easily replicated buy an OS update than that their probably 🤷🏻‍♂️
