Hey everyone! You CAN sideload APK files on Win 11 says a Microsoft engineer. I didn’t have that information at the time of the recording.

I’m actually happy with that if I could put Android apps on Windows so everything can be ubiquitous and continuity, and soon Windows will unlock universal control format drag and drop files from one Android device to Windows and back to tablet similar to what Apple is doing with mirror universal control.

Apple silicon devices are overrated, cannot support external displays, however this is clearly a logical move to try and compete in the software space by MS

This was a **** move from Windows. Respect your customers and give them play store apps.

No way google would partner up with Microsoft. It would destroy its Chromebook line up.. be grateful and except what things are… You don’t have to use the amazon app you could just download apk files from google

google would never allow that as that would eat in to their chromebook sales. But yeah that would have been nice

As a developer , the only feature I’d still stick to is VS code and some other environments to code , 😂😂 no much difference to me , I got the update today , checked all the features, cool , well Vs code let’s continue our discussion

I don’t see the practicality of having android apps on windows tbh. Much easier to use them on my phone. I don’t get it.

Not if windows does not support tablets from other markets. Also, affordability comes into play.

Would love to have complete integration of Windows 11 and my Android Phone and Samsung Tablet. Would it be a better integration than iPad Pro and iPhone and iMac.
