The most notable difference I see since installing the Beta is in performance. My phone seems a lot faster now. Apps open faster, the interface is snappier and I can perform some tasks, like switching between open apps, much more simply and quickly. A lot of features are not available yet like Material you, privacy dashboard and some other stuff, but what I see so far is great. And it is installed on my daily driver Pixel 4a5g. I’ve installed every Android public Beta on my daily drivers the moment it was available since Android 5 on my Nexus 5.

Is Android like iOS when it comes to updates? What I mean is Apple releases an iOS update that is always full of bugs and I takes them until the next iOS version before they get MOST of the bugs worked out. Then the new buggy update drops and we start another year of dealing with bugs that Apple gets in no hurry to fix. Is Android like this as well? I haven’t used Android in a few years but I don’t remember Android being this way.

If you get a pixel there’s an update every month but a big update such as android 12 once a year up to 3 years . But bugs don’t really happen.

Disabling all sensors was around since android 10. This time they added separate toggles for camera and microphone.

nothing is going to come close to what metro UI was able to achieve almost 11 years back. no matter what google and apple can try…. too bad Microsoft threw in the towel too quickly

The screenshot and select feature is already available on Android 11 with Pixel devices.

It looks really clean and aesthetic. It simple, but big and colorful. I like it a lot. Looking forward to the new software changes as well. Hoping Samsung phones transition to the new update quickly.

Hey everyone, I should have mentioned this in the vid: The screen recording feature in Android 12 Beta when I was trying it kept crashing. So I installed a third-party app so I could show you something on screen.

A request for android OS! The sound bar should be shown from hide by horizon swipe on side with two fingers. If it is included, we do not have to press the volume key and the hardware durability will be longer.

An expectation from android OS! The sound control bar should be shown from hide by horizon swipe on side with two fingers. If it is included, we do not have to press the volume key and the hardware durability will be longer.

To people who have this installed? Is it very buggy, mainly large bugs. Normally I wait for beta 2 or 3 until getting on board. Thanks!

The notifications options window sure does waste a lot of space with those giant buttons. Is there an option to condense those?

I watched the video and saw nothing really ground breaking. Most of those features like 90% of them were on Android 11 already on my pixel 5. And for the design, it seems a lot like One UI, rounded color icons and stuff. I hope Google will use the password locked turn off option I really miss from Samsung’s phones. I mean that’s a useful security.

I’ve installed the Beta on my (daily) Pixel 5… seems to be pretty stable TBH, although live wallpapers don’t work properly.
Not found any other significant issues other than the new search filters in Photos calling LEGO “Legos” !!!
