Yeah you are right. Especially that notification bubble. It has been in OneUI for sometime now. They call it “Smart pop-up view”

Quite a lot of this is already in the android 10 OxygenOS implementation by OnePlus. I have the native screen recorder, granular permissions and even the bubbles permission appears in the developer options on my OnePlus 5 from years ago.

    June 13, 2020 at 12:15 am

wtf.. The music control being so far up in the notification shade will suck! I don’t wanna have to reach that far up to change songs etc without opening the app.. It was so nice being able to skip tracks and seek to a certain part of the track right from the notifications….

    June 13, 2020 at 12:30 am

Does the native screen record use internal audio like the iPhone?

  22. Nana Jay

    June 13, 2020 at 12:58 am

Samsung have had “notification bubble” for like a couple of years ago in their OneUI. They call it “Smart pop-up view”

    Without even watching video:
It will be more resource hungry.
Privacy will go further down. Im 100% sure they wont do anything for privacy.
New unwanted features like wallpaper, themes etc .
Accessability to common and most widely used apps will be more difficult and alos the needed settings will be difficult to get.

Google just takes up on the innovation that other companies do on their Android Skins. Just like the dark mode, came so late after they saw that Oneplus does it and every1 loved it. In Android 11 they have copied Samsung and Xiaomi…. Wheres the innovation Google?
