This is kind of dystopian

They have a couple glasses like this
@keiththornton2504

I used to deliver for them if it works as advertised it will increase safety and be easier for drivers in the new electric vans. (Previously we needed to keep a phone with us for pictures, scanning etc) Now there will be customer interaction recording and with some of the interactions I’ve had this will be very important.
I also like that it will auto report dog encounters and show special requests without having to check the phone. Amazon basically has a no dog interaction policy after things that have happened in the past few years. Trust me not all dogs are friendly.

Amazon is adding body cams to the uniform now 😂

“Looks like you took lunch break 5min too long and took too long to deliver packages. Points deducted, 3 points left until termination “
@ronch182
October 23, 2025 at 8:13 am
You think they get a break? Lol
@camerons6859
October 23, 2025 at 6:58 pm
@ronch182 Actually Amazon is strict about people going to break. If its in a California they have their own laws. I had techs i provided support for at another company and in California they got 2 lunch breaks a day.
Amazon is the easiest warehouse job one can get
@MyLifeOfficial
October 22, 2025 at 5:24 pm
So now, the drivers will inadvertently be filming you (and potentially the inside of your house) with an AI camera when you open your door. Are you OK with that?
@legionofthought
October 23, 2025 at 1:03 pm
I was thinking that. Though amazon can already hear what many of us are talking about lol

they are testing technology for delivery robots. This will be the last generation with human delivery drivers.
@FelixM97
October 22, 2025 at 6:16 pm
I worked at Amazon years ago and this is what I kept screaming. They way they handle delivery seems very efficient but it’s only sustainable for robots. The amount of data they collect on drivers is insane. The app for delivery it self feels like a data farm
@GregoryWilnau
October 23, 2025 at 4:48 am
Who wants to be a delivery driver anyway?
@clashofqueen93
October 23, 2025 at 10:23 am
@GregoryWilnau no one however it’s a job, a job that pays the bills. you think people want to work?

Anybody else see that they are wired to the battery or whatever is over his shoulders and in the pockets. My wife drives for a delivery service that works for Amazon because Amazon doesn’t deliver a single package they have a third party do it and wear there name on the vest. If it works tho it’ll be a big help!

@3DRocketcars
October 23, 2025 at 5:44 am
I like her outfit and it does seem cool, but also this will definitely be used to help train the humanoid robots that will replace delivery drivers but the same day shipping will be way more often and also I don’t think Amazon is designed to be a humane job, they think you get lazy after 2 years so litterly strive to replace their entire staff every year
@ronch182
October 23, 2025 at 8:12 am
So drivers will DEFINITELY not be able to take any breaks to pee now.
@clashofqueen93
October 23, 2025 at 10:25 am
Amazon will suck everything from this world. And the people are being complicit.

Crazy how google glass was way ahead of its time. Now everyone is making smart glasses
@camerons6859
October 23, 2025 at 7:00 pm
Too ahead of their time on it plus they were really bulky back then with low battery life. Definitely made their contribution as I am sure others took notes
@aibarra11
October 23, 2025 at 12:37 pm
whoa. i love the idea of smart glasses for myself. but now, amazon will start to actively capture information about where i live…
