the only thing you need to know is that we are going to overpay for headphones

    • Matthew Griffin

      May 14, 2020 at 12:32 pm

Steve Boyd actually that’s what a lot of companies charge for their flagship headphones and even earbuds

    • Matthew Griffin

      May 14, 2020 at 12:32 pm

Why is it that we only hate on Apple for doing this?

    • Ahmed Abdullah

      May 14, 2020 at 1:46 pm

@Matthew Griffin Exactly all the flagships cost near about the same. Idk why people target apple solely.

    • Ckim27

      May 15, 2020 at 12:51 am

So you are saying Sony and Bose both over charge for their xm3 and qc 2. Not to mention the more expensive Bose 700

Headphones that are able to sense whether they’re on your left/right ear (reversible)? That’s kind of revolutionary. This is the first time I’ve heard of a feature like this. 😮

My sennheisser pxc 550 first gen has the neck feature … When I remove it the music stops when I put it on the music starts again … Pretty sure this will be same functionality but apple will make it look big saying they have discovered and researched it

    • Matthew Choate

      May 15, 2020 at 11:04 pm

That’s not a neck detection. That’s a ear sensor all it’s doing is sensing distance from the headphones to a object. That’s been around for a long time.

  18. physics77guy

    May 14, 2020 at 5:21 pm

so beats modified and rebranded as apple studio headphones

How can a set of headphones tell the difference between your left and right ear? Some sort of sensor that can tell the shape of your ear? That seems like it would be hard to make work reliably.

    • Matthew Choate

      May 15, 2020 at 11:21 pm

Ca9ine C0mic just like the Sony’s, Bose, bowers and Wilkins, master & dynamic, Sennheiser. They are all very expensive. Apple is gonna price then right along side the rest as a competitor.

@Matthew Choate at $350, you can get a professional headphones from other companies. But sure, Apple is not for sound quality, it’s more of a convenience

    May 15, 2020 at 9:20 pm

I think I’m gonna go for the ath msr7b’s to use with the Fiio q1 mark 2 to get better sound quality than Apple, beats, Sony, Bose etc

  33. allemander

    May 15, 2020 at 9:59 pm

I have a wish list. The only thing on it, however, is that gorgeous spokeswoman, Lexie!! 😍😍

  34. Mike Hog A Nator

    May 15, 2020 at 10:17 pm

**Go Apple! Release everything when the Corona is suspected to hit hard again!! Way too pricey for me. Sony has great wireless in & over the ear headphones for less $$. My neighbors have had their Apple Air pods Pro returned 3 times due to things not working as advertised. It would suck if these came out & “only” worked on Apple devices. The life span of a single charge is important also. I need 6-8 hours min.

  35. Juan Esquivel

    May 15, 2020 at 11:07 pm

So apple 🍎…..Are these the next beats studio 4?

  36. Gabe Pasztor

    May 15, 2020 at 11:36 pm

How about the mic? Would it be good for great conference calls ?

  37. Cameron Clark

    May 16, 2020 at 5:01 am

why they own beats how would these be different from my studio 3s

    • Jamal H

      May 16, 2020 at 11:51 pm

They’d probably be more premium materials, better ANC, more features/sensors, transparency mode and better sound quality

  38. Drew Hartig

    May 16, 2020 at 5:14 am

    These would be dope

  39. Christopher Grapetint

    May 16, 2020 at 5:55 am

Just curious why does the A roll in this video look like it’s 360p

    • David

      May 17, 2020 at 1:31 am

COVID-19 social distancing work-from-home. She’s likely been sent equipment to film at home vs a studio with a full fledged camera.

  41. muhnnad Salem

I like the idea to have a headsets with Apple logo, Just don’t expect the price to be $349

    • Tara Tara

      May 17, 2020 at 1:06 pm

Idk, they upgade the Macbook17 without increasing the price and lower the price of Ipad pro recently. 349$ sound believable for me.

  44. RAJESH KUMAR

    May 16, 2020 at 4:15 pm

Sony WH-1000XM3 still be the king of bluetooth headphones even after the airpod studio release

  45. Sacto1654

    May 17, 2020 at 1:22 am

The so-called “AirPods Pro” won’t have the bass-emphasized sound of Beats headphones. It will likely have a flat frequency response so it can better compete against similar wireless over-ear headphones from the likes of AKG, Bose, Sennheiser and Sony.

  46. Phillip James

    May 17, 2020 at 1:55 am

Meanwhile prices on Beats headphones are dropping. You can find some models on sale for pennies on the dollar. Avoid the Apple tax by never paying retail prices.

  47. Robert Gonzalez

    May 17, 2020 at 5:25 am

    How much? $599?

  53. Stevie Cooper

    May 18, 2020 at 12:50 am

I’ve owned the original AirPods and now Pro. My ear shape is funny and they’ve never fit very well, often falling out. I don’t like the over the head design as it can give me a headache. I’m still to find a design that really works for me. However I don’t use them too much so it’s never been a huge issue.
