It’s IPX4 not IPX7 or IPX8 you can’t dunk it in water that’ll destroy the tiny motherboard in it.

I’m very happy with wired earbuds. Don’t really want to spend all that extra time thinking about earbuds. No worry about charging, losing, or whatever. It’s too bad that these earbuds and headphones has become a part of fashion to show status.

Did you try the rice bag trick to see if, once all the moisture was all gone, if they would come back ? No! Then maybe you should and let us know.

Forget the airpods falling while on the bathtub. Can we take a moment to appreciate the excellent grout job on that bathroom.👍🏻👍🏻😊

Would have liked to see airpods in the case in the washer. Then also in the dryer. Then after completely drying out and recharged.

I’m often showering with my airpods 2nd gen (~every 2nd day since launch), and have tried going for a swim with them. The microphones are broken, but the sound works perfectly fine. Absurd engineering!

Well this is great to know for brand new AirPods, but as Apple say, the seal is not forever and I guess that if you shower with them all the time for example, eventually the risk of getting them damaged will be higher
