So this is trying to act like a CGM but claim not for medical use to avoid the testing needed for FDA approval… Thanks for the ad….

You being Diabetic shouldn’t be drinking alcohol at all. So why would you be so interested in the alcohol sensor? You don’t seem to be stupid but if you’re a diabetic and you’re drinking alcohol then you are stupid

I like this idea and I like that the presenter has a personal connection to the product. However, I think I’ll wait until the second version comes out where one device tracks all of that in one device. Four separate devices? I doubt that will last.

I’d wear that during the day to monitor my health data.
Not during sleep though cause I’d definitely rip it off.😅

It actually won’t come off in your sleep. You can even shower with it. It’s meant to stay on for two weeks. If you rip it off before two weeks you cannot reattach it. You need a new patch.

Uploading incredibly personal data to some sleazy corporation who will sell it to people who will use it against you.

Imagine people using the alcohol one to see how high they can get that number in a night out or before passing out :p

And “who owns this biodata?” – necessary question. Great job

I’d love to track everything, best of course with just one device. Just so that I would be able to access all this data in case of a health problem, or it could even warn you month before some severe problem kicks in. With more and more stuff measured like vitamins, hormons and all the stuff that’s out there I would imagine such a device to really be able to save your life or extend your lifespan

I can see it helping people in which I think that’s great. But on the other side I’ve seen technology being half baked. I’ve seen issues with iRobot, desktop printer application on PC, smart lights, Samsung’s wearable tech etc. Just about anything and I’m trying not to be such a tech enthusiast anymore because it feels like in my opinion there’s lack of accountability from today’s manufacturers so I try not to get too excited and just remain skeptical. But I just want to make sure that the consumers actually get what the product is advertised and instead of having to fix the product later with the software update because that seems to be the norm now these days. But if this product works great and people benefit from it then that’s fine but in my opinion accept the risks of your personal data and maybe the possibility of receiving a faulty product just like anything you may buy but I wish the consumers the best and purchasing that product.

im not impressed until it runs bloodwork for us. letting us know the real problems and help monitor them or help let us know we’re dangerously close to causing harm to ourselves. dehydration is a 1st step. eventually it should let you know whether u have cancer or pre stage 1 organ failure. just saying.

If it’s reasonably priced I’ll buy the lactate sensor. It would be super helpful for real time lactate data during my runs instead of estimating lactate threshold based on heart rate data.

From my own point of view, you need to invest smartly, if you need the good things of life. so far i’ve made over $505k in raw profits from just q4 of the market from my diversified portfolio strategy and i believe anyone can do it you have the right strategy. mutual funds takes long time but investing smartly is the key for short term. Most of us tend to pay more attention to the shiniest position in the market to the cost of proper diversification.

What goes up the most today dosen’t mean it’s what will go up the most tomorrow, so you have to be diversified, it’s how you create the optional portfolio for maximum gains over time

@Selena Ellen Great content. Everyone needs more than there basic salary to be financially secured. The best thing to do with your money is to invest. Money left in savings always end up used with no returns.

You didn’t talk about practical things, like can I wear them in the shower, when swimming, or how long each sensor lasts (do I need to replace it every week/month/quarter). Can I see the results on my own phone? Does it use my phone to report to someone else? Who does it report to, Abbot labs, my insurance company, law enforcement (in the case of the alcohol sensor)?
Justin_tech
January 19, 2022 at 3:39 pm
Yes you can wear it in the shower. They are meant to be worn for up to 14 days. Yes you can see the results on your phone, Marc mentions that.
