Sorry to contradict but, I’m 54 and every single time that I eat chocolate, I find awful spots on my skin a couple of days after. Lobby of chocolate manufacturers, like sugar and industrial food are behind the so said studies. And it has been like this since I was a teenager. We know our body better than anyone else.

3:40 It’s always *RACISM* now isn’t it? Couldn’t it just be due to negligence, erroneous medical practices, and myths spread by everyday people including black people and not racist medical profs or practices? And yeah probably some training practices are due to ethnic divides, perhaps not as focused on dark skin. And what percentage of derm patients are black? That seems like an important thing to factor when making claims of racism. When you say things like “the way racism permeates medicine” in such absolute terms it sends a really negative message, especially to black people! Nobody is stopping black people from studying dermatology. Most doctors across the board in America are white, followed by Asians. Blaming everything on racism is just lazy.

Hospitals and doctors will soon be sued for hate crimes due to medical conditions being missed until the problem is too far along to be effectively treated. “All Doctors Are Bad” chants coming soon to a protest near you!

@Andy Bissen I hadn’t even thought about that, but I think you’re probably right. Maybe this is what she meant when she said “the way racism permeates medicine.” That is, the way race-hustlers are permeating every other facet of our society.

I just don’t get how we can possibly need to wear sunscreen every single time we go outside for extended periods of time?? How have we survived living under the sun all these years if that’s the case? I get it if you’re pasty living somewhere really hot like Australia but otherwise I don’t quite understand. Idk if anyone has a link to something that addresses this? I would love to see it if so.

Sorry, I just *really need help now more than ever. 🙏 Got a spare $1? No opportunities outside due to constant lockdowns in our country.* 😷 Been trying to save for a laptop (homejob), but now need help for me to put food on the table. I’m not a bad person, just a desperate breadwinner. Lost a lot since 2020. 😢
*Prayers and well-wishes are also very much appreciated. 😇*
Off-topic, I know… I hope you understand the desperation. I know some people need more help than me and my family but I do hope that does not invalidate my cry for help. 😢💔
Things are getting worse here. *We don’t have stimulus checks or anything like USA.* So I’m just really doing whatever I can to put food on the table. We may not be killed by the virus but the situation is surely slowly killing us. 💔
*Peace be with you. GOD bless you always. 🙏*
*To anyone who’s struggling, let’s hold on tight. All will soon be well. ❤*

Myth number one;
People of color don’t trust doctors , and well, raciest. Everyone is racist . This lady is an
A-hole
Myth number two ; Ted talks are about science not pushing the racist google agenda.
Group people together like white dermatologist and black people don’t trust doctors is racism
Get real clown lady
Division is their goal people
This IS what racism is folks…..don’t be fooled.
treat each other as the individuals they are and don’t judge
Real science is just a quest for truth and truth is not racist .

What about aliuminium in sunscreens? I headed that it’s extremely toxic to our system
Umut RÜZGAR
June 27, 2021 at 4:30 pm
For second question: Chemistry is complex. When one atom or molecule combines with another, their properties drastically change, essantially transformes into another material. An obvious example: Oxygen is oxidizer(feeds fire) and hydrogen is flammable (one source, energy of the flame) BUT 2 hydrogen and 1 oxygen containing H2O is literally the water, which is nothing like its precursors, even extinguish the fire.
In many products, aliuminium is not found in its metalic, pure form but rather as molecular form with other elements, in the format of aliuminium bla bla.
To sum, if you are curious whether or not something is toxic, you may better search the whole molecule, not its one part

We’ve been living in the sun for hundreds of thousands of years and we are adapted and adaptable to it. I’d say the opposite, putting too much sunscreen, blocking the sun and not getting enough exposure is the unhealthy thing to do. Never put on sunscreen (or any skin products for this matter) and I live in a culture which is located in a very sunny place (google Saudi Arabia) and sunscreen doesn’t exist here and I never heard of someone having skin problems because of the sun. I live in the sun everyday and I work for years now, yes my skin gets darker and yes that’s all the protection I need. This lady may never heard about Africa or the Middle East, or history.
She has good intentions, I know, she’s maybe put scientific studies as the ultimate authority on truth (Like many scientists these days do) and not as merely a device.

The chocolate experiment was originally funded by a confectionery company, and included only cocoa powder. This result has been taken by dermatologists who stated for DECADES that “There is no evidence that acne is caused by diet.” even though they only tested cocoa powder. This was trash science. Things have improved a bit. For myself I found that my acne greatly improved when I changed my diet.

Sun is good for skin, it kills bacteria, virus and helps to detoxify. Sun cancer as cause is OVERRATED. Sun cream and in general, these stupid full of toxics and chemicals ARE NO WAY GOOD FOR SKIN. Not to mention most of “hygiene” stuff. You only use sun cream when it is essential. Stop brainwashing.
