Calm down fellas! You can configure it either side 😅… And everything else about it. I want one with the electric shock anti-theft system…

What a waste of public tax money. You think people care university students protest you literally provide nothing to society….. 💝🐱

It’s British Racing Green. A classic colour. Restrained and tasteful.

Ah the “benefits” of an EV. Chargers that don’t work or waiting hours to charge.
@Kurre.

I have had 0 issues here in Sweden…

Do you own an EV? How much range do you loose during winter? Do you travel with EV or just work commuting?
@chemjam92
June 23, 2024 at 6:49 pm
@@nickcpv No I don’t. For the very reasons I listed in my comment and I live in Northern US where I would lose a ton of range in the winter.

I owned an Elise when it was a small company and lightness mattered. Another Chinese electric car usurping the history of the name Lotus is of zero interest to me.
@nickcpv
June 22, 2024 at 10:24 pm
Really sad. I think this Chinese group owns Volvo as well.
Thanks, but no thanks.

With MG ; not only chinese Mini ; Rolls Royce is a Germán BMW ; Jaguar ; Ranger and Land Rover is a Indian Tata group etc.

Thank you for this review of the Lotus EV for long range travel. It really confirmed to me that EV infrastructure is still in its infant state when traveling long distance in unfamiliar areas with many unreliable chargers. I will stay with my HEV and if I wanted to upgrade I may just get a PHEV that is more beneficial for my daily drives and just a bit less efficient than a HEV for long range travel without the inconveniences of an EV.

There is a diff between driving a new electric car and a 5 yr old electric car. Battery takes a huge hit after 3 years
@nickcpv
June 22, 2024 at 10:25 pm
Yes’s, another difference is also about 80% depreciation.

June 22, 2024 at 10:56 am
This is why in the states I don’t suggest unless you get a garage for Tesla or adapter or open like ford able to use the supercharger network. Do your research. For me the best decision to own one but do your research. Also people are afraid of range yet don’t know the range they travel daily or weekly. Having the garage is key.

Not for me I have had my ev since 2015 . Model s was the only longer range ev but the super charger network wasn’t started until late 2012 and you couldn’t go across country. But I have done fine without a garage . It is nice if you have one but plenty have evs without one

June 22, 2024 at 5:15 pm
@@markfitzpatrick6692 great to hear, but yeah depends where you are geographically and different factors. I already know how I don’t want to get up if I forgot to charge or it’s late at night and so forth, but if you have it down, truly glad for you because I love having an EV.

4 hours to charge ( if you can find one working ) a heavy Chinese pos . Great video exposing ev junk .
Real car 60 seconds refueling to go another 450 miles .

It’s probably really good EV SUV but it should not be Lotus, Lotus should be lightweight, 2 setter small sports EV, something like MG Cyberster 😊
