What about third-party sellers and their absurd prices? Are they real? Seems like part of the scarcity problem.

Am I weird for spotting these kind of tactics right away and not falling for it?
I always laugh about some scroll text on websites, which say there is a discount code only available for 20 minutes. And then shows the same scheme in every new tab with the timer resetting ^^ This stuff is rather repelling than intriguing

    A trick I’ve noticed recently:
Checking a website to make sure the item is in stock at the local store. Go to the local store to buy and get told they don’t have it in stock. I’ve heard countless stories of this happening and I’ve had this happen with a TV and a dishwasher.

Boy, installments are the standard for purchasing almost anything in Brazil. Most people do it for clothes, for example. I always found it absurd and illogical, because you end up paying more lol

Put the item in your cart, then close your browser. Some websites will offer you a discount on an item you would have paid full price for. If that’s enough to buy, then you’ve saved some money.

Put the item in your shopping cart, then close the browser. The company may email you a better price offer that *could* save you money on something you would have paid full price for.

I hate being ‘sold’ discounts. I ignore all the emails. I do buy things after thinking about it for a week or more. If I really feel that it’s something that I need, I buy it. But ONLY what I need

These quick snippet videos are nice. One shopping tactic I use is that I add things onto my wishlist or another kind of list on Amazon (or on Notion) and then review it once a month to see if there’s anything I actually want/need from it.

If we use Gamification for studying, invest in yourself, and so on, all of us can make life wonderful. Recently, I decide the reward after studying with roulette. I recommend it from Japan.
