Variolation/ inoculation proceeds vaccinations. You should look up Cotton Mathers and a west African slave named Onesimus. Humans used this method to fight against smallpox because a 50% chance is better than dead. Vaccines efficacy is around high 90’s to 85% on most vaccines. Flu shot is around 60%. This shows vaccinations are highly effective.

*TRUST?* insists on allowing alternate scientific narratives. The old _expert opinion_ is the lowest rung of the scientific validation ladder. It was extensively used in C-19. There were no peer-reviewed meta-analyses of data. Even now, years later, no country I am aware of has stated categorically that C-19 was transported by air, not on hands or clothing. All info points to the US paying a Chinese lab to engineer a virus for wartime purposes that either escaped the lab or was intentionally released.

listen, I understand logically that there is no way a virus that is dead can make me sick. I also know from personal experience that every time I get a flu shot or any vaccine shots within a month or so I get extremely sick. Same as when I got my mil. vaccine shots, super sick afterwards. If i chose to not get a vaccine shot one year, I wouldn’t get sick that year. So I learned to hate vaccines. I know logically this can’t be, but the evidence from reactions in my own body tells me something is happening. Can you explain what’s going on or why this happens and is it possible for a person’s immune system to kill them, from a reaction to a vaccine? cause it sure felt like I was there with 104 deg. temps, to delirium, and throwing up. Basically, what’s really going on when you get a vaccine to when your body makes the antidote? I would watch a video like that and maybe get another vaccine next year.

People in general didn’t have trouble with the shot. They had trouble with what the government and media did with the shot.. It changed the lives of hundreds of millions of people for the worse.. Regulatory definitions were updated to accommodate these drugs under existing vax frameworks, which have low safety and approval standards compared to traditional pharmaceutical drugs. I took the old regimen as a child and cherry picked the ones for my kids. Haven’t had another vaccine in my entire adult life and almost never get sick. I think it’s been four or five years since I had the flu. Got COVID once, took IVM, got better in less than two days and never caught it again. My kids very rarely get sick either.

It’s possible to get measles even if vaccinated. But, it is very unlikely. Unvaccinated, you have a good chance once exposed. MMR vaccine can wane over time. I got mine in Grammar school around 1966. I’m sure there is a small chance. What makes it more prevalent and contagious is undervaccination. Herd immunity can’t take hold if not enough people, esp children, are not vaccinated. Basically, the unvaccinated, put everyone at risk.

Thank you Mam. Retired RN here. The last few years of my career were spent trying to alleviate the fears people had about getting the covid and flu vaccines. Some questions I got were educated and served a purpose, and the other 75% were argumentative and political. The one thing I had to help people make up their mind was people dying around us
from covid. It assisted many people to get vaccinated. Thank you for your insight. Very relatable.

The issue is that it’s hard to have trust in a system that’s based on hierarchy/control and is geared towards monetary profits and not the health of humans/nature (these are “externalities” and/or things to profit off of). Science, like everything else, can be corrupted/manipulated by money and by other interests that don’t align with those of the general public.
(see books like “Trust Us, We’re Experts: How Industry Manipulates Science And Gambles With Your Future” and “Merchants Of Doubt: How A Handful Of Scientists Obscured The Truth On Issues From Tobacco Smoke To Global Warming”)
