OLEDs just look so good to me personally. Got the 65 LG C1 and man it spoils your eyeballs.

I play warzone on an LG 55’ and it’s really amazing. Too bad I record my gameplay in 720p, I also work with a faulty controller that drifts????

I tried several budget 75 TV’s brands that all had some kind of panel issue and ended up with a Samsung QN90A that I’m very happy with. On larger screen sizes it seems better to spend the extra money on a high end model.

65” a1 is cheap but LIGHTYEARS ahead of anything I’ve ever had before it. Its oled so it’s got way darker blacks and better off angle viewing. OLED is the next generation TV. All tv’s will be OLED someday. Get an OLED today, nothing else will age as well. LG A1 is 90% the same as the G1 for like 25% the price.

my 5 years old samsung ks8000 still works great and looks almost the same as QN90A. QN90A is A lot brighter thou.

No doubt QN90A will work for almost anyone who wants a bright TV.
For me i’ve moved into OLED and i’m loving it so far.

      February 11, 2022 at 8:08 am

@Ask BAMAGRL26 I agree, great TV. Awesome color, extremely bright and the blacks and contrast are near OLED level with minimal blumimg.. essentially imperceptible at viewing distance on a 65in panel. You’ll love it and it’s on Sale for $400, or $1799 at Best Buy right now

    • L33tSkE3t

      February 12, 2022 at 1:27 am

@JS5 do you find the near infinite contrast of your OLED, offsets it’s brightness limitations?

Same, but the black is not very good, wish i have more money to buy oled TVs

Hoping in a few years that the modular display tech takes off and becomes more reasonable. 21:9 TVs would be incredible and that looks like the most feasible option for it.

Great point! Modular TVs could be awesome. That could be a fun!

I exchanged my 77’ A80J for a 75’ X90J because of the big window that facing my TV. So far it’s been very impressive and am enjoying it very well so far

    • el chappo

      February 13, 2022 at 3:39 pm

Would the a80j been better if it was in a dark room?

    • N54_

      February 13, 2022 at 3:42 pm

@el chappo yes, 100%. There was no around it for me unfortunately as the wall the TV is facing is entirely almost a window wall.

The A80J doesn’t get as bright but honestly it should be bright enough for most people.

  12. Mike Held

    February 11, 2022 at 1:01 am

But what about 82 inch, 86 inch, etc?

I’m wanting the QN90a in 85″ but am wondering if the prices will go down even further shortly AFTER the Super Bowl? With my government employee discount I can actually get that TV right now directly from Samsung for just under $3000 but again….do you think it will go down even more shortly AFTER the Super Bowl?
