There’s a lot of hype around AI right now, but it’s important to look at the reality behind the curtain. First, AI doesn’t ‘think’ or possess intelligence. It is essentially highly advanced pattern matching—it guesses the next most likely word or pixel based on massive amounts of data created by human workers.Second, the economic model is completely dependent on us. Tech companies need billions of dollars in user subscriptions, venture capital, and cheap access to public data just to keep the servers running and the chips cool. It’s an incredibly expensive infrastructure that relies entirely on human input and funding to exist, even if the marketing makes it sound like an independent miracle. THESE company and PEOPLE are misleading you for your investment so they CAN USE YOUR MONEY instead of theirs incase they are found out before their ILLUSIONARY god like system is found out!

You could play reductionism with any form of advanced technology. It’s not about how it functions necessarily. It’s how it’s leveraged. You could play reductionism with cars but what have cars allowed us to do? You could play reductionism with spreadsheets and PCs. Pretty simple once you take a look at it if you want it to be. You could definitely go reductionism with any form of social media, text messaging, and the Internet. It’s the leverage part that’s important.

Yes you’re right in terms of what the technology is but what it produces, what it can do in the right set of hands is the value unlock. What I’ve been able to do with it, I could tell you, for, say, a $200/month plan, I have produced thousands, tens of thousands of dollars’ worth of value and time saved. If companies are able to harness it and do it then yeah it’s not really hype. It just takes time to digest and put it to good use. People who are doing dumb things like token maxing, unlimited API spend without caps, 0 code or output review, etc. They’re still figuring it out and doing dumb things along the way, just like the dawn of Internet which locked like glorified digital telegram.
