Can someone explain the openclaw obsession ? I remember reading some meta executive used it and it deleted all her emails. Why would anyone want something like this running their PC?

these tech ceos want to sell ai so badly as they have too much invested too soon but how many ppl can afford a 1 terra flop and 128 gb memory PCs, or do they need it for home 🏠

MSFT should focus on fixing Copilot first. Otherwise, it starts to feel like a bunch of broken promises. A solid agent needs a proper harness, guardrails, and workflows, not just a model bolted onto products.

How about ‘BUILD’ without AI slop, every app you make is worse and unusable. F*&k Microsoft as John Malkovich would say. Also, just as I deleted Openclaw they partner with MS, good decision on my part. Hermes is the way. The more I watched this the happier I was I removed Openclaw from my machine. Just run Hermes and PI for local work. The jokes write themselves, MS took so long to ‘load’ openclaw that it is old news…Explorer vibes.

you wanna know something funny that you’ll never be able to un-see ever again? All of these highly produced apple/Microsoft style keynote presentations have one thing in common. All of the presenters stand with their feet super wide apart, almost bowlegged. It’s a funny thing that the consultants make them do as a form of subtle body language for conveying confidence and such. And everyone doing it looks super uncomfortable and unnatural and it’s super hilarious to me

  27. @glowing_kitty

    June 3, 2026 at 6:57 am

  32. @SirusStarTV

I like when they use open claw to do what is essentially a single prompt on the web-based chatgpt like planning a marathon.

Nothing says a smart person like giving more or less root access to your computer just to have a one-page question answered.

    Slopptunity 💩

  40. @welivelifewell1816

    June 3, 2026 at 10:11 am

The only reason open claw failed to delete those files is because literally in the prompt you asked it to fail and not to get ‘creative’. Otherwise, it would’ve found a way to delete them. Please don’t mislead the people. Take your time and do things right.

    – very concerning

Controversial opinion here but I’m all for getting AI to run locally. Part of the whole ram price issue is the fact companies are putting all their eggs in the data center basket. I’m hoping this is acknowledgement that was a mistake and that we see a return to a personal computer focus. With that said I hope other chip manufacturers put Spark to shame with more cost effective chips.
