Apple watch 5 or 6 is better than SE and also cheaper

Well, you can’t actually listen to music with just the watch (unfortunately).

Thanks for watching! As always, let me know if you have other questions about either the 7 or SE ⌚️????

      November 29, 2021 at 7:23 pm

Do the cases get any different upgrades? Or is that just the metal used?

Seems like a big jump for Stainless steel

    • Lexy Savvides

      November 29, 2021 at 10:42 pm

@Shawn Martin just the metal used
(stainless or titanium option on the 7) plus the durability of the screen and dust resistance.

    • Shawn Martin

      November 29, 2021 at 11:00 pm

@Lexy Savvides I actually just bought the stainless steel with matching band. Got wife one gold stainless steel. Two older kids I got them the Nike ones and got my 6 year old iPad Air with engraving. I didnt want to spend the extra for Air model but otherwise it wouldn’t get here in time. Wife will be pissed I spent about 3k but if I wait until Christmas to surprise them she cant be mad on the video 😉

Can you text on the Apple Watch se?

    • Lexy Savvides

      December 1, 2021 at 8:39 pm

@Me grind for Luke yes! But not with the full keyboard the series 7 has. You can write/scribble text, use the mic to dictate and it transcribes to text automatically, or you can send emojis

    • Rich Kid

Only poor people fret about which model they should get. Think about that. For Rich people the answer is always easy. Just get the best. Nothing less.

Here’s something if you are under the age of 22 don’t get the 7 for the ekg it won’t work unless you are 22 I mean you could change your age but
    1 there’s a reason for the limit
2 it may break other things based on your real age

Great comparison review, but I don’t think you mentioned if getting either watch requires an additional phone provider fee. Does anyone know?

    • Lexy Savvides

      November 29, 2021 at 5:34 pm

Only if you want the cellular option. That’s an additional monthly fee through your phone provider

I love my Apple Watch..started out with the Series 4, then went to the 6 and now I have the Series 7..I’m glad I upgraded..The bigger screen is a big plus for me, and the new keyboard function is soo helpful.. I too keep the Always on Display off to save battery, I get almost 2 days of battery life…I turn the watch off at night when I’m not wearing it, so that helps…

    • J Leight

      November 30, 2021 at 8:52 pm

Can you use Spotify on the watch?

    • Michael b

      November 30, 2021 at 10:44 pm

@J Leight you can get the app, yes..

  15. JOJOhill27

    November 29, 2021 at 7:25 pm

That’s what I ultimately decided aswell I got the SE but would have loved to get a full keyboard or even the three push number keyboard on the SE but it’s a great watch also however I did notice a small ding on the case around the button and now my button doesn’t work quite as well so I’m not sure if the 7 is a little more durable on its case

    • Mclovin

      November 29, 2021 at 7:52 pm

It was literally my only reason, being cheaper was a plus ????‍♂️

  18. Olivia Jane

    November 29, 2021 at 9:45 pm

What did you mean by the LTE to do messages and calls, do they not automatically come with that? how do I know if I have bought that?

    • Lexy Savvides

      November 29, 2021 at 10:40 pm

It depends on which version you buy. The regular versions of each ($279 and $399 respectively) are not LTE capable. The GPS + cellular models that let you take calls and messages away from the range of your phone cost extra. Hope that helps

  19. Ahsan Soomro

    November 29, 2021 at 9:50 pm

Shame on apple, paying 400 dollars on a watch and still not getting stainless steel. They should discontinue aluminum version they look so cheap

    • William Mcvicar

      November 30, 2021 at 12:59 am

Stainless steel is expensive and there’s a lot of tech inside.

    • Lia M

      November 30, 2021 at 2:10 pm

I disagree.. aluminum does look good in my opinion in certain colors. The Matt rose gold is actually kinda cool. Also no visible finger prints is a plus.. but yeah I definitely think it should be cheaper

i hope apple added a T9 keyboard . Like galaxy watch 4 . More convenient that way

  27. liquidmojo

    November 30, 2021 at 5:13 am

My opinion is different, I feel the always on feature to be a game changer, and I think the SE would be much more useful if it had an always on watch face. A refurb AW 5 or 6 would be a better bang for the buck, depending on your budget than an SE. I’m a tech geek though so IMHO the AW7 is a worthy update.

  28. Ashik Antu

    November 30, 2021 at 9:56 am

Let’s be honest, any smart watch is just a luxury and not a necessity ????‍♂️ ( cmon you are not a 70 year old dude with a handful of health issue’s)

  29. AndroBoy17

    November 30, 2021 at 2:11 pm

Having the feature “ always on display” turned off on daily basis to save battery is the most stupid thing ! Is like buying a lux car with leather seats but you store them in the garage to keep them clean and not to wear out. Come oooon ! I use my apple watch 7 24/7 even while asleep. Always on display, running for 30-60min, receiving calls, checking and replying to mssgs, emails, reminders, timers and so on …. I have abt 35-40% battery left after 24hrs of usage.

I’m getting an Apple Watch but the funny part is that I’m gonna use it for everything but the health features. Unless you are 50+ years old and/or you have a health condition the health features are absolutely useless. It’s a waste of money either way but i just think they are cool which is why I’m buying it.

If Apple drops the price of series 3 to $100 than that would be a good way for someone who wants to get into a apple watch and probably upgrading in less than a year.

Cool vid as usual! ???? I actually traded-in my 40mm S6 for the 45mm LTE S7 for two reasons: (1) I’ve always had the smaller version, because, price. Now I wanted the larger version, because, vision; and (2) wanted to try the LTE version.

I’ve had many apple regrets – my latest is I wish that I had bought the stainless steel on the Series 6. The only reason I upgraded to the 7 was for the shiny. I missed it since I had my 4 – which is in a drawer somewhere. Who wants to buy it?

Iv ordered the SE for my 1st Apple Watch, I was really tempted by the 7 but in reality I think the 02 censor and ecg are pretty much novelty items and maybe use them a handful of times so not worth the extra £150 the sensors in the 7 won’t come fully into play for maybe another 2 years yet and tbh by that time I’ll just upgrade.

  60. Eric Luu

    December 5, 2021 at 3:51 am

When I upgraded from the series 4 to the series 7, one big noticeable thing is the larger screen when trying to tap at icons like toggling my alarms. The battery life is worse than the 4 cause I have the always on display on but charging does not take forever anymore. Being able to use hand gestures allows me to keep using the watch at work especially when I have gloves on
