I can only imagine how many Samsung engineers will be having an uncomfortable meeting tomorrow. Eight generations of foldables, and Apple appears to have nailed it on the first try — no visible hinge, no obvious crease. Who knew the answer was nano-engineering the problem instead of just refining the same design year after year?

LOL they should be thinking Samsung for going through all those trial errors to get it correct. Since they came out with this Duo people act like they just invented the wheel lol

Well that is Apple’s MO. I don’t know what you’re saying. They wait for another company to refine the issue or problem for them, so basically do the complete R&D or get to a state where it’s like, “Okay it’s solved. Let’s make it even better, like a nice little polished layer.” Sometimes they even absorb those companies. You don’t hear too many of them but if you just Google Apple M&A, you can see how many of the technologies that make up everything they have were purchased from companies with products and components that were just refined.
