Apr.08 — Ajay Shah, head of technology investment banking at Deutsche Bank AG, discusses the booming popularity of special purpose acquisition companies (SPACs). There has been more activity in the SPAC space in the first three months of 2021 than all of 2020. He says SPACs are a revolution for the capital markets and are here to stay, but between 70% to 75% of SPAC sponsors are not of high quality. Shah speaks to Emily Chang on “Bloomberg Technology”.
