This short educate employees on how to get promoted. It is the objective truth, and it’s very useful to those who don’t understand how business works, such as you.

I am sorry but the idea that the employer expects more than he payed for is something I can not support. I will be reprimanded if a paperclip goes missing but putting in 20 more hours is “expected”?

    • Lyu Hyeonsu

      May 20, 2023 at 4:06 am

I wonder what careers the opponents of this talk have. Then do you expect to be promoted by just keeping your regular work?

    • Lyu Hyeonsu

      May 20, 2023 at 4:06 am

Have you ever promoted your vaccum machine as a manager cuz it’s cleaned your house for 10 yrs? lol

    • niccolom

      May 20, 2023 at 5:03 am

If you don’t show that you can do your bosses job, why would anybody promote you?

If you want to promotion, you absolutely need to invest extra time to learn that job before you get a chance to do that job.

Making money is an action. Keeping money is behavior, but “growing money is wisdom”. I found this out a week ago after getting a $10,000 relurn on my $3,000 investment in 7 days.

Mr Allan Howell is the only one I can leave my investment with and think less about it, he is my money maker. I just received $24,300 of my investment last month. I am very happy because he’s leading me to financial freedom.

I think a Good T/A like him will pay off more than random u-tube videos, a lot of YouTubers don’t actually care if you loose money, they just want more views and traffic

Well spoken by an institutionalised employee who just wants to climb the ladder within. Be careful, such organisations will indoctrinate you with cult tactics such as the idea that higher level sponsors will lift you up.
Always find external mentors outside your employer.
Build confidence by getting accolades outside your employer.
This is your capital that cannot be taken away when your employer right-sizes/augments/transforms.
Invest your extra unpaid time wisely. Giving more to your employer is okay to establish security, but be careful you don’t invest all your eggs in the one basket.

This is exactly the way companies exploit young workers: do more than what you are paid for, thus you’ll demonstrate your value… Go on demonstrate without being payed for your actual efforts and when you’ll be tired, well, another young will look for to be hired to demonstrate…

This new way of treating depression starts with rewiring the brain #TEDTalks

The idea that depression comes from a chemical imbalance in the brain has shaped treatment for decades. Neuroscientist Lisa Monteggia shares research suggesting that’s not the whole story — and shows how a decades-old drug could upend what we thought we knew about depression, with the potential to offer relief within hours.
