That’s 4 countries, and I doubt he really remembers living in Brazil aged 4. So basically England, the US, and around a year in Canada. But he did move country 5 times so still impressive.

I honestly didn’t know there was a thing where guys choose not to wear their ring.

    • Ghost De Razgriz

      November 30, 2022 at 8:14 pm

Oh well yeah. That’s the standard tradition.
The man proposes to the woman, he puts the ring on her finger, but she does not reciprocate that motion.
He’s not expected to put his on.

When the couple shares news of their engagement, the woman reveals her hand.

It does kinda imply the man is allowed to not be committed to the decision while the woman is shamed for taking the ring off.

@Ghost De Razgriz The more you know. Thanks.

They usually don’t wear a ring until they’re married, but women start to wear one when they’re engaged.

They do, but traditionally after they’ve married. He’s talking about wearing his ring during his engagement, which is out of the norm in the US. Traditionally, women wear an engagement ring before marriage.
