And the worst consoles of 2024?

  5. @emikomina

    December 2, 2024 at 8:44 am

If you want all – PC
If you want to game on a TV while sitting on a couch – PS5
If you want a handheld to game anywhere – Switch (or wait for Switch 2)

There is no reason to get an Xbox at all. Even their gamepass is on PC and is cheaper

    December 2, 2024 at 8:51 am

Hahaha, they put a series s in the thumbnail

    • @IAmSarlosCantana

Laugh at it but that little thing is a beast. There isn’t a single other gaming device that can okay BO6, for example, at 120 fps for $300. Or Siege. Or really any other game. I don’t have a series x or ps5 yet I’m still playing new games just fine for significantly less than all other options

  7. @matroska80

    And Oculus Quest?

    Xbox definitely ????

The best console of 2024 is the Steam Deck, the most powerful is the PS5 Professional… power doesn’t equal the best

  10. @RichTallent

    December 2, 2024 at 9:20 am

    Xbox is best

  11. @ScottJPowers

    December 2, 2024 at 9:22 am

the steamdeck and other handheld gaming PCs are not consoles. They have off the shelf hardware, some just run windows while others use the steamdeck OS, neither of which is custom firmware for that hardware and it’s games, and for that matter, the games they run are not written specifically for their hardware and software, unlike actual gaming consoles, like playstation, xbox, and nintendo’s devices.

Ally X is better than the deck in all aspect tho. Better Speakers, Better Battery life, Game Compatibility, More powerful Processor, VRR, 120hz, 1080p, 24gb faster ram, can run all pc games like gamepass, epic, steam, windows store, gog, gforce now and can connect to egpu, and vr.

    • @whatgaca

      December 2, 2024 at 1:32 pm

There are few downsides with Ally (I am Ally owner)
      1. Screen is not nice as Steam Deck (larger and vivid)
      2. Windows. This can be pro/cons. Obviously, Steam itself very well optimized on Steam Deck. Asus ally sleep mode, for an example, is absolutely garbage. Updating is also an hassle. UX isn’t good as Steam Deck
      3. Price difference
      4. Lack of touchpads. Civ 6, ex. Is actually playable on Steam deck but not on Ally.

Ally is pc handheld not console cuz it has windows

  13. @DannerBanks

This list is lame, I wouldve picked the meta quest 3 and 3s

I have a ps5 pro and a series X. I have to say the series X is the better bang for your money. Add gamepass ultimate and it’s not even close. Skip the series S and ps5 pro.

    Lol

Truth…….this generation is trash. I still don’t own PS5, even though I have collected like 80+ SINGLE PLAYER PS5 Games that don’t require an Internet connection to play, apart from an update. And multiplayer games have become boring and trash.

  18. @TheTimePostChannel

Xbox series x with game pass is the best choice

  19. @anonymepower8646

Console n’est pas pour le gaming

  20. @IAmSarlosCantana

    December 2, 2024 at 1:39 pm

Steamdeck OLED is the single best gaming device out there right now. If I could only have one device to game on I would immediately choose the Steamdeck. I love my Xbox, my switch is fun, PS5 is great but the Steamdeck just changes the way I interact with games now. More versatile than all other gaming consoles combined

for 699 you better hope it does both, for that you could have brought an high tier gpu if you already have a pc

Venture firms are turning to creators to build trust with the next generation of founders before a check is ever written. It’s a trend that’s been building with a16z’s acquisition of Erik Torenberg’s Turpentine podcast and OpenAI’s acquisition of TBPN. On this episode of TechCrunch’s Equity podcast, Dominic-Madori Davis is joined by Zau and Machiz to dive deep into whether the “creator-investor” is becoming a real function in venture or just something firms are still trying to figure out.
